People will soon come here and be shouting Wike Wike! As if it is his duty to be driving patrol van round the state with Ak47 and arresting criminals, Rivers state has a Commisioner of police and he should be blamed along with the IG.

There is something about Rivers state. It's like most youth there have no family or moral structure. They have no value for life, or improving their community. All they care is which fraternity or group one is in and how to use crime to make money.
Before it was about cultists killing cultists. But this is a promising lady who probably didnt live by the gun and had to die so violently. It is quite a shame. A friend of mine told me that outside PH he cant stay anywhere else in Rivers State. Government needs to instill a high military presence in that state. May her soul RIP

Dimwits will soon come in here to tell you that Wike is not in charge of security...But he can loot the treasury of the state fa? He can fight Amaechi and all his perceived enemies right? He can use the state allocation to fund the PDP while his state grapples with unprecedented insecurity!

Rivers state is currently the most insecure state in the South (South-south, South-west, South-east). Even Lagos state with its continuous human influx, over population (way more than rivers) is Utopia compared to Rivers state.

Time for police to leave young men alone on the streets and tackle the real criminals. But alas who am I even talking to? Will kidnappers and robbers pay them when caught They'd rather force young men to "pay" them at gunpoint.

Time to invest in CCTV... Not hard when you hear the amount earmarked for "security" monthly to each state. But as we all know it nothing will be done, not until the robbers, cultists and kidnappers kill/take hostage one of the ogas at the top.

Wike should resign. As the chief security officer of the state, he ought to have taken measures to halt the unnecessary killing and kidnapping in Rivers state. Let him resign if he can't put the bad situation under control
