Lamentations Of A Disgruntled Pensioner by Lopeztranto(f): 2:47pm On May 01, 2019
"I wish to remain anonymous for the time being."

"I am a recent graduate of the university of Portharcourt, Choba, Rivers state and I want to call out the government and governor of Abia state in the person of Dr. Okezie Victor Ikpeazu for neglecting the workforce and civil servants/pensioners in the state as regards their welfare.
My mother is a retired civil servant and single parent in her sixties, I'm the eldest of her three children with my youngest sibling at exactly 19 years old.
This post is meant to serve as a plea and a warning as well to the government of Abia state, my aging mother had served the government of Abia state for 30+ years of her life and should be paid what is due to her as gratuities and pension as the law clearly stipulates.
She is battling recurring High blood pressure and has been on routine drugs for only God knows how long, since my mother retired in October 2017, she's yet to receive a single month pay of her pension and her gratuity which runs into millions has yet to be paid to her and she's being left with no option than to engage in very tedious farm work with a deteriorating health. This is the fate of a woman who had served the state for 30+ years without a single query and our governor and politicians are feeding fat on the state resources and entitlements of the likes of my mother.
The crux of this post is to appeal to the government of Abia state through every diplomatic avenue available to me, to do the needful and issue a resounding warning to the state and individuals in every position of authority at the state level to beckon on the appropriate authorities to live up to their responsibilities. Should my mother die as a result of the status quo, the government of Abia state and governor as an individual alongside members of his immediate family will surely be served a taste of their own meal, I don't care how long this is going to take to execute, even if it's going to be last thing I accomplish on earth."
