I am compelled to confess the truth on whether Alhaji Abubakar Atiku really won the 2019 General Elections or not. I have been a strong and active member of our great party- the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) with passion for peace, stability and development of Nigeria. I want to state unequivocally that, Atiku lost the last 2019 Presidential election in favor of President Muhammadu Buhari.

For those who are old enough please recall that, since the return to democracy in 1999, our party (PDP) retained most of its elective positions (without apology) through rigging and imposition. For the sake of historical analysis, lets ponder over the election results of 2003, 2011, 2015 and 2019. Without the influence of the power of incumbency, Buhari was able to garner the following results.

YEAR POLITICAL PARTY CANDIDATE VOTES
2003 ANPP M. BUHARI 12, 710, 022

2007 ANPP " " 6, 605, 299

2011 CPC " " 12, 214, 853

2015 APC " " 15, 424, 853

2019 APC " " 15, 191, 847

Related to the above, in 2007 when Alhaji Atiku Abubakar contested under the platform of the Action Alliance (AC) with the late president Umaru 'Yar Adua; the anointed candidate of former president Olusegun Obasanjo, our party as you all know, is good in muzzling oppositions. We shamelessly allocated only 2,637,848 votes to Atiku. However, because Buhari believes in decent politics, in 2019, our candidate had level playing ground leading to his score of 11,262,978 votes.

Despite being the incumbent president, Buhari's vote dropped by 233,006 against his 2015 votes while Atiku's votes when compared to his last election in 2007 just got jacked-up by 8,625,130. This is evident that the election was substantially, credible.

Having said this, I urged all sensible persons who have the interest of this country to have a second thought by viewing elections beyond parochial and primordial sentiments.

how many people voted from southeast and south-south? the whole of southeast was marred by low turnout while south-south bedeviled by violence. imagine a governor in IMO state becoming governor with only 125000 votes...... Atiku should learn to accept the reality.

I don't believe Atiku lost the election. Buhari and his minions stole the people's mandate. However, I feel Atiku should not tow the line of violence, should the litigation outcome not favor him.

'Repentance Leads to Wiping Away of Sins. ...' Atiku should drop this pity party of his version of the 2019 election results from 'INEC server'. Despite the plethora of indications that he lost, he still allows himself to be deceived by voracious individuals. This just shows Atiku's desperation for power, he intends to get it by hook or crook. Leaders like Atiku need to be phased out or else Nigeria would turn unrecognizable.

The real truth about the 2019 Election is that Buhari did not have an alternative. Atiku would have sold us out to his friends. What is important, is to get Nigerian on the right path again. The slogan may sound familiar, but we can surely do it as a country. We have to change our attitude towards change to get on the next level to effect it. The question is, what do you dream for Nigeria? what is your vision for the success story of Nigeria? Focus o! We have a bright future ahead.

Reading the article again points me to the fact that, Atiku has never even been prepared for the positions he has held in time past. From being a one time vice-president, top Nigerian Custom employee, to holding various political positions in the country. He has repeatedly failed at various levels. What do the people of Adamawa really think about the Waziri? Nigeria is not a project hinged on trial and error. Let the real leaders of repute take the lead and effect the change we want to see in this country. I met someone reading about true leaders in Africa yesterday, the list baffled me as Nigerian were mentioned in the top 5 most influential leaders on the continent. I believe these leaders will have a chance to lead.

competing with Buhari in the North is like carrying a stick to fight a man with a gun .
ATIKU was aware of the above and he hoped the South-South and South-East will bail him out.

the moment i saw the votes trickling out of the SS/SE I knew it was game over. key buhari states of kano, katsina, bauchi and Kaduna were pumping a million votes , while SS/SE States were sending in less than 400thousand.

which magic can Atiku use to win . for me the elections are over !!!!!. and Atiku lost clean and clear.
let him forget his Server campaign cos it cant fly.

Dear sir,

So 750,000 people stood in the sun to do accreditation only to turn back and go home afterwards

You are not making sense sir.

Also remember that accreditation and voting happened simultaneously.

Hence, it is impossible for 750,000 people to do accreditation and then turn back and go home.

Please you are not talking to children here.

Here is the truth, APC rigged the election nationwide and the numbers did not add up.

In the process of stealing and reducing their opponent's votes, they left a trail which will be used against them in the court.

Secondly, how come turnout of voters in the south took a plunge?

How come all the 3 regions in the south got a turnout of 29% in south south, 29% in south west and 24% in south east.

The reason for all these absurdities is because the election was manipulated.

Lastly, how come inec is unable to allow PDP access to their election materials for over 55 days despite court directives?

Obviously inec is trying to do cover-up for APC and trying to cover-up a fraud is a crime.

You are free to support buhari but don't loose your sense of judgement.

Cheers.

Try to think a bit. do not let this hatred thing get to you. 750k people in a country of 200million is but a fraction. also voting did not take place simultaneously with accreditation in all polling units across the country and not everyone in an election wants to vote some people are there just to see if the system works. for example a voter may want to do accreditation and not vote just to see if INEC will count him as voted
