A quick one my Oga, This thread is really inspiring.
You have really motivated me. God bless you Sir.
Please am really new into this whole building stuff. I spotted your
thread yesterday.

In terms of purchasing land, do you always have to use a lawyer?
Kindly advise, I have a plot (100x100) I want to purchase for about (600k).

Do you advise me to get a lawyer first?

Thanks

Please, is it here in Lagos that you want to acquire the land. Looking for a genuine land to buy too.

Please mail me mossyadex@gmail.com

Thanks to everyone for their beautiful encouragement,I gave a pause on the project so I can relax with the family by December and make a better plan for 2020.
Right now am thinking of how to raise funds like 300k so I can continue or complete this project by the first quarter of the year.so please your suggestions are highly welcome.
Am actually scared of loans but I don't know if I can cope with long term loans,or maybe I should keep going slowly like this.
Or
Should I sell part of the land to complete one side so when I start getting returns I can purchase another land else where.
Please suggestions are highly welcome, thanks in advance.one idea can get me more possible ideas.

Continuation of my last post in December 2019.
I was thinking of how I could raise funds say 300k to kick Start my project in the first quarter of 2020.
I said to my self instead of thinking of ways to get funds that won't give you peace of heart, while not develop streams of income which I did,so by February end I was able to raise 200k, with the hope of raising the balance by this March end.
But there is a good and bad news, which am going to tell all my readers, that's if I still have one.

The bad news is the unstableness of the society because of the said coronavirus epidemic.
The Good news is that am happy to be back to my project. But the more good news is that I receive payment for one of the room in my new project,it look like am dreaming that a yet to roof is been paid for by a stranger for that matter, the picture is coming along this text.

So today money was paid for one room,so I have a room and parlour yet to be rented, suming up to three rooms yet to be completed project

Bought the second trip of sand yesterday for this project and it cost 15k.
Was forced to discharge it at my neighbors compound because someone has been blocking my entrance for some months now and it really made me angry yesterday.
Picture of the sand and vehicle blocking my entrance.
Every thing on this thread is my experience on this journey both the bad and pleasant times

Presently we are the lintel stage but we did half the job hoping to complete it after we have poured today's work, due to insufficient materials the wood precisely.
In total i spent #24000 naira for the lintel though am to balance the carpenter #3000 once the work is completed

That boarding was poured on Monday with rods on it. No payment made because the rod was tied and poured in person by us.
