If the siblings can fuel and maintain the car then why not?

But if not, then no no no

Yes! This is a reality that is around us.
Truth be told, this is a very sad reality with some of our politicians and of course, our rich elites. The source of the money determines who uses it. For example, if the source would demand for the siblings, it will sanction spoiling those siblings with too much money but where it will not, it is a taboo for them to enjoy. This is nigeria. If you know what I mean, you know.

Don't mind us.

You siblings doesn’t owe you a kobo.
I don’t give money to my siblings because I want them to hustle and be successful. If you start something of your own no matter how small the business, I will support you. But I won’t dash you money to spend or give you car... no no no !! #hustle #nolaziness

Na only ur sibling know how he worked his ass off to get d 4 cars.. He doesnt owe U anything except he's magnanimous to share.. Sometimes all we have to do is ask but our sense of entitlement won't allow us to becos we somehow feel dey are suppose to jus give to us

The background story should be shared, so it can be assessed within context.

Meaning he should give one of the cars to his brother because he is entering keke to work ❓

Unti we get some things right, there will always be issues

When the car owner was using his feet to go from on end to the other, no body borrowed him a car, now nmhe has enough cars and you want him to give one to his brother because he umis too big to enter keke ❓

Guy, get it right

If you want the good things of life, work for it.

All his four cars are for different purposes

NO, you are wrong. If you sibling owns four cars, then he/she owes you one because if he/she falls sick today and he/she is unable to walk or function well, even his/her wife/husband that has been saying "me and my husband/wife" will call you that your brother/sister is sick. If you say it is none of your business, family and relatives will not let you rest, they will all be saying "do you want your brother/sister to die?" So, of you sibling has four cars, then he/she owes you one.

You can give money to your sibling to start a business. And if you own four cars, you should also give him one to use so that he can nurture his business to grow instead taking money out of the new business to buy a car.

All I see is stupid sense of entitlement displayed. If u need one of your brothers cars then humble yourself and go and beg him for it n if he says no then accept in good fate n go n buy your own car.

You only owe your parents not your siblings but you can help your siblings if they ask for help so as not to encourage laziness

God bless you oh! I can't do it, I either give them two out of it. My siblings has done more than enough for me. Some people doesn't believe in family bond, thanks to my mother, she love us equally. She will always advice her children to help each other

A stupid man will have four cars and will not give the siblings one or two.

But when he die the siblings will take responsibility of buring him

If he gives one of his four cars to his sibling. He will be left with three. I'm sure he has more siblings too. It would be unfair for him to have 3 cars while others siblings are trekking to work. I will advise he gives out d extra two cars left to his trekking siblings and he makes use of only one car. Lolz. grin grin grin

Habba, siblings can share one car na. Put a time table on it, then carry on.

You need to work on your English please.

I would rather give them two out of the 4 (4 cars cannot be "it" and "either" is used for comparison.

My siblings have done more than enough for me (not my siblings "has"wink

Some people don't believe in family bond (not some people "doesn't" )

To the topic, helping a sibling should come naturally. But the truth is, people like being the " god" of the family. They like the fact that they are the only one successful in the family as such wouldn't want to help their siblings just so they can maintain the "financial" authority.

Best treatment for this kind of person is to go and hustle hard. Make it and prove him wrong.

No o, i don't think i can be that mean not to give him one. It will look somehow seeing him trekking or jumping keke to work on daily basis.

Although some siblings can be greedy leeches, always having some kind of entitlement mentality but all the same, i don't see anything wrong in giving out one while i have four as long as he can maintain it.

My take though.

What makes people so sure that the owner of the car will die or become sick before his poorer sibling? What if he’s the one who offers to render help to the sick sibling even when he refuses to part with his car.

What if the so-called siblings are step-siblings who in conjunction with their mother, have been a major set back to the person involved?

No i wont unless the said sibling cannot drive or does not want to drive.

Since the sibling is working, he will assume full responsibility for the car too ie fuel and servicing

If the sibling is living in the same house with me, can drive, and has a license, I would have to be crazy not to let him/her use one of the cars on the condition that the maintenance and fuelling will be his/her responsibility.

If the sibling is not living in the same house with me, NO.
He/she can come borrow it for important occasions and return it, not for steady commuting.
