Delivar:I don't have to agree with everything a pastor says because sometimes they don't understand the suffering of the masses owing to the fact that they ain't feeling the heat of the country ,even their wards ain't exempted! No sane man wants to be jobless, so it makes no absolutely sense to me to mock anyone nor agree with him on every word said just because it's coming from a pastor. |

What if the man loses his job immediately after wedding? What if a lady ignores a potential successful man just because she listens to this rubbish preaching and eventually God pickup the call of the jobless man and he goes on to become a very successful or a billionaire man in future, the lady will lose and miss out? Ladies shouldn’t be misled by some pastors. Just because he is a very big pastor does not mean he is right always. Mind you, pastors should stop accepting money from jobless men. Hahahahahaha |

frank317: Seriously 40k is something as long as d lady is working too, my brother in Nigeria you just have to cut your clothe according to your size, did you know that some federal government staff on level 8 step 2 salary earn 49k monthly Example ministry of labour and the worst part is that you can be on that same salary scale for 4 years. Before you term me a liar please do your research or check this for more info. Thanks https://www.currentschoolnews.com/articles/federal-civil-service-commission-salary-structure/ |

jay7: you are indirectly saying a man who earns 40k's marriage is indirectly dependent on how much his wife to be earns? Yet you say 40k is something? Oga, weather people are earning 20k per month or not and if you like cut ur cloth anyway u like, 40 is too small for a man to consider marriage with. of course people are doing it. dont sit down and assume they are findin life funny. do we even need to argue about this? i know there are variations in life, people do different things for different reasons, thats why i think Adeboye telling girls not to marry jobless men is shallow. there is a lot about marriage he should talk about that can guide people decision before marriage, weather the man is jobless or not. |

frank317: Well I read most of your replies before typing my own, yes people ain't finding it funny marrying on such salaries then how much more someone who is jobless? Since you know this, your post should rather encourage we guys to have at least something doing and at least set our priorities right before venturing into marriage, at least a man who earns 40k in south west Nigeria will be able to feed the wife and a kid or two averagely. In one of your replies you stated that when you were earning "80k" you couldn't marry with that, then how will a jobless man cope if he marries without any means of livelihood Fine I am not saying a man should be a millionaire before marriage but he should at least have something doing to care for the lady and their children. |
