I am compelled to write having read how atheists daily and notoriously attack Christianity and its beliefs on this forum. What happens to religious tolerance? I am a Christian and you are atheist, why not face yours and leave mine alone? Atheism is also a religion and it takes great faith to follow any religion. Christians believe the earth was created by God because their Holy book said so and convinced them, atheists on the other hand mock them saying the stories in the Bible are fairy tales.

Now, how do I believe the Big Bang theory for example? Who witnessed it? Where did the matters, dust and gases that gathered to result in the explosion originate from? How did life manage to exist after such a hot explosion? There is even confusion among scientists as many of them doubt if such an incident actually took place. Someone in his room brought up a theory and convinced you that that was actually what happened and you believe it. Christians also say God created man and you tell them it’s not so, that man rather evolved from apes. You want me to believe you just because man’s physiology and that of primates are almost the same. Now my question, are we still evolving and if yes, what animal are we evolving into? If no, when did we stop evolving and why did we stop?

Now to Nairaland atheists, was this how European atheists and scientists left their research laboratories to devote their precious time attacking Christianity and were able to come up with those inventions we now enjoy? Are you not ashamed that you just lazy about, doing nothing but rather find solace in deriding Christianity and calling our God derogatory names? Almost everything we consume in Nigeria is imported, what have you achieved or invented as people who do not believe in our God? I challenge you all to leave Christianity alone and go back to research and bring up inventions to better our lives. You would be appreciated if you exhibit them even here on this forum

Christianity is Theology. The only Religion that is clutchlessly amenable to Instruction, Direction and Discernment. Atheists are forever wellcome to Trinity, to Light, to Goodness, to Faith, to Hope, to Peace and to Charity. No one comes to God in Christ Jesus and returns a failure. Go on Atheists. Christ is the Goldmine.

Dear OP Tungamaje,

You seem to be either ignorant or hypocritical about how Christians treat atheists and other religions.

Please, learn that your Christians struck the first blow of intolerance.

-Your churches blast ther noisy sermons from loudspeakers which disturb neighbours.

-There are preachers who disturb passengers on public transport with annoying preachings.

-There are the door to door preachers who disturb people in their houses

-what about bosses at work who strong arm employees to attend their churches?

-what about employers asking "what church do you go to?" as an interview question?

- What about Christians who say that all unbelievers especially atheists and Muslims will burn in hell because they are reprobates?

- What about Christians who say that all atheists are satanists?

1)I should keep my atheism to myself but you cannot keep your church to yourself on sunday or friday in the middle of the night to yourself
2) I should keep my atheism to myself because your fellow believer would keep making noise in public transport
3) I should keep my atheism to myself because every 5 am muslims keep making noise
4) i should keep my atheism to myself if not i will burn in hell fire.
