Residents of Ayigolo, Ayingba Kogi State, have been seen picking expired bottles of drinks which were disposed off at a refuse dump.

As seen in the picture, the drinks which are still well packaged are gathered by the residents and might find their way to the market where they will be sold to unsuspecting buyers.

It is not quite clear who disposed the expired bottles of drinks, but what is certain is that they were improperly disposed.

This is happening just a month after a fake yoghurt factory in Yobe State, RUQAYYA Yoghurt factory, in the Lai Lai area of Potiskum LGA, has been shut down by The National Agency for Food and Drug Administration and Control (NAFDAC)

One Mohammed Sani, the owner of the factory – was arrested for unwholesome production of yoghurt.

Product and equipment worth One Million, Five Hundred Thousand (N1, 500,000:00) Naira were confiscated in the factory.

The State Coordinator Mr. Lawan Musa Dadingelma have restated the commitment of NAFDAC in Yobe State and warned that the State will not be a safe haven for substandard producers of regulated products and urged the public to come forward with any useful information to NAFDAC.

NAFDAC needs to do more, to curb the proliferation of illicit drugs and various form of unapproved drinks in the country.
But why are some Nigerians so heartless?
Some persons won't mind endangering the lives of a whole State just to make money.
We truly need to look deeply inwards as citizens of this great country !

All the same, fellow Nigerians rejoice and make merry!

Main reason

In traffic at Zuba from KD one day i asked a guy selling drinks on the road to give me coke, guy say e no get coke but he has Bigi.

I said no, I don't drink bigi. This guy came back out of no where and gave me coke so I paid him and our car left.

When I opened the coke to drink, it was bigi. The son of perdition turned the Bigi I rejected into a coke bottle.

You know dome coke bottles open without the seal breaking. I just threw it away.
