Have you ever heard someone say
"I dont like his attitude, he's just so unfriendly " or "There's is something unwelcoming about her character"

Statements like these have become a common trend in current times when people try to express how difficult it is for them to relate with a person they know, probably A roommate, a relative, a colleague, etc
While this may not be a real issue to you, it becomes a real cause for concern when that person being reffered to is you.

Do people get scared, become moody or go eerily quiet anytime they are around you?

Do your words hurt people or put them down?

Do relatives and friends only get to talk to you because it can't be helped?

Then my friend, you're in the category of what I term an "UNLIVABLE INDIVIDUAL".

You may say I don't care about what people think about me, it's their problem not mine, or you may say it's not my fault that i'm a melachonist.
But friend, you know these decisions doesn't really help anybody. Not you and definitely not the people you're hurting.
No human is created with a special purpose to make an environment toxic with just their presence, it is just not right. And that is what this post is all about. it is to help you achieve self development, a more friendly and a more relatable personality. Overall, it is to help you become better in your actions and reaction around and towards others.

Why there is no real formula that can change you overnight, following this steps will steer you in the right direction.

Here are 5 steps to help you develop a more livable personality

SMILE

People already have the impression that you are not the best of company to be around with. Their only thought about you is how grim, unyielding and strict you always seem to appear.

You can change all of that with a simple smile.

When next you walk into an ongoing conversation with your cliche and you notice the tune die down the moment you joined in, don't just crawl back into your shell and return the hostility. Just smile and exchange greetings with them. Of course they may be like " is this really you" but then, that is the whole point, you are making a transformable change from being totally unrelatable to a more friendly person.

Don't only smile during the greeting, keep the smile all through the conversation. It doesn't have to be comical like a clown. You just have to make sure the smile is fuelled from your heart and your determination to make a change. By the end of the conversation, they will all have a second thought about you being a harsh soul.

SHOW EMPATHY

90% of why are you are so intolerable whether consciously or unconsciously is because you have never really try to understand people from their own point of view.
When you're like that, it is pretty inevitable for you not to say or do things that can easily make people pass you off as arrogant, rude, ignorant or unintelligent.

If you actually try to understand people from their own point of view and see their situations the way they do, they will naturally feel comfortable around you and even desire to bond closely to you. It is human nature.
