Their was a heated argument in my Lodge yesterday between a Catholic and another guy about Marys life after the birth of Jesus.

Their was some points raised by the non Catholic guy which are below

46 While Jesus was still talking to the crowd, his mother and brothers stood outside, wanting to speak to him.

47 Someone told him, “Your mother and brothers are standing outside, wanting to speak to you.”

48 He replied to him, “Who is my mother, and who are my brothers?”

49 Pointing to his disciples, he said,
“Here are my mother and my brothers.

50 For whoever does the will of my Father in heaven is my brother and sister and mother.

Some other bible verses include Mark 3:31 , Luke 8:19, John 2:12 , Acts 1:14 , 1 Cor. 9:5 , Matthew 13:55 , Mark 6:3 e.t.c



One of the Catholic guy said that the Brother and sister meant are his Disciples or Apostles not biological children of Mary

Another Catholic guy said that back in those days, Cousins are also referred to as Brothers and sisters and Those refered were Jesus Cousins.He went further to say that Mary never got married to Joseph but Joseph was Betrothed to her and he acted as foster father of Jesus.
