Nothing you say here will change the fact that, Onitcha is a Slum and the head quarters of all crimes.

Even your Lagos was ranked the 3rd least liveable city. It ranked 138th out of 140 cities. You're here celebrating mediocrity.

What are the industrious hardworking people doing in IDPs Camp? Lazy things

You hide in IDPs Camp waiting for free food and donations, but call yourselves hardworking blah blah blah

Poverty stricken Okoro

Lagos belongs to the yoruba, but over 60% of the properties and businesses belong to only the Igbos...

But Lagos still belong to the yoruba,

While we keep arguing this let's not forget that fulanization is coming and if the south doesn't learn to be one now, it is detrimental to the entire south...
Where did you got your 60% assertion?

Even the rich suffer in Lagos.
Crap state
It isn't enough to just work to earn money. We have to work together.
This type of problem is solved under urban planning.
An over ruling body with authority and permission, plans the layout of roads and drainages, builds all the houses. Then whoever, pays their mortgage and moves in.
You cannot expect everybody to buy land, build house then build road around the house again

Call a spade a spade sir!Change that mindset of yours and lay the blame where its supposed to be laid.
See the world climate map? UK is near the northpole. North pole is frigid. Ice, 0°C. Wind blows from the north carrying freezing air and blows it all over Europe. They all suffer freezing weather because of this. There's nothing they can do except spend money on gas heating up their house.

See where Nigeria is? It is directly below Sahara desert. Wind blows over the Sahara and carries DUST and heat. That dust is full of particles of sand as well. The dust and sand covers our cars, roads furniture, finds its way into our gutters and blocks drainages.

What we must do is sweep, sweep and sweep. We must continue sweeping and packing away sand from roads and drainages . I never saw a grain of sand or a spec of dust in UK. Even if you look under a car or lorry on the road, it is spotless.

That's just how this world is. Know your location and respond to weather accordingly.

When I speak about the Island they say I am demarketing Lagos. But when 70 percent of your GDP is located on a sliver of land that is not only gradually sinking into the Atlantic in the face of the fact that 8 Pacific Ocean Islands have been submerged since 1900 and 5 Australian coast islands have been lost since the mid 20th century, it beats your imagination why any strstegic, long term thinking person or government wil continue to invest there when the cost of living and insurance is bound to escalate till it falls off a cliff.

The oceans worldwide are rising 3mm per year and is set to double that over the next decade as more polar ice is released. That is about 17cm since 1900. It may not seem much to the lay man but 3mm to the engineer is significant. It will alter the slope of all drainages making them less and less effective in moving stormwater and increases the rate of silting. This means bigger and longer lasting flooding on the island and peninsula going forward.

Visited the beaches last December and was shocked to see how far tne oceans had encroached since I was last there in 5 years ago. Those places donot have a viable long term future.

They will starve in their tiny underdeveloped Region, if they fail to migrate to other parts of Nigeria in search of greener pastures.
It's like your generation is coursed. The same sickness that killed your father has taken over you.
Hatred and envy can only kill you earlier than expected.
These same people whom you are abusing are busy buying where your parents and grandparents were buried and you think you are wise.
It a matter of time you and you so called tribe would become minorities in Lagos.
Mark my word.

How are Igbo's related to the Chinese? The Chinese are straight forward people. They don't do Robbery, Kidnapping, Buying and Selling of Babies, Baby factories, Drugs, fake drugs, fake spare parts, e.t.c.

And mind you this forum is global and not limited to Lagosians or Londoners.
Which means you cant absolutely know what everyone in the world is saying.

I keep noticing a nauseating pattern on nairaland...maybe its being encouraged by the owner because he is Yoruba.
.....Anyone that says anything that a Yoruba man doesn't like on nairaland is Igbo. Out of over 250 tribes in Nigeria, the implication becomes that no other tribe has d guts to dare disagree or argue with Yorubas except Igbos because the other tribes are COWARDS.
Even when Yorubas argue with each other on this forum, they call themselves Igbos for daring to disagree and start to insult every Igbo man.
Yet when they hear divide naija, they develop seizures because of the over N2trillion that all tribes (Igbos being the majority) pay to Apapa port annually in the name of importations while the deep sea ports in the entire SE/SS are wickedly blocked thereby forcing everyone to come to Lagos.
Obasanjo once opened the ports in the SS and Lagos almost collapsed as most southeasterners imported thru the SS so he quickly closed the SS ports. Who is deceiving who here?
Don't mind them. They are the yẹyẹ yoruba and not the Yoruba, the Yoruba with parents at home. Nobody took a knife and carved "behave" on their yoruba forefather face, not like Afonja! It's either that or their forefather didn't tell them the meaning of the tribal marks on their forefather face. That's why these yoruba are out here learning what they didn't learn at home from their forefather who is carving it on their face.

budaatum:

Daalụ nke ukwuu

In my part of the world (likely just in my home, and note, I have Google translate!), you would even be insulting the visitor by slyly informing them they are unwelcome! And if I be man, I will tell my mother off!

Funny though. My ma would call her first born son to come and cook amala and ẹfọ riro for the in-laws when they come to ask for her daughters' hands in marriage just so she can say to her future son-in-law and family, "I hope you enjoyed the food that my first born and elder brother of my daughter you want to marry cooked. My daughter is not going to be a slave in your house, so keep your dowry"!

She fortunately has 4 daughters, all married.

Post that tribal mark Afonja buda you all been posting please. So yoruba can see what we Yoruba do to our people when we have not yet learnt the ways that our parents taught us to behave at home!

While I'm at it. And not that my opinion counts or anything just that we are not jungle so we could perhaps try to refrain from spitting in people's faces with the spitting gif? As the person above me said:
