Kano State Governor Dr Abdullahi Umar Ganduje on Thursday queried Emir Muhammadu Sanusi II on Thursday over allegations of fund misappropriation.

The Kano State Anti-Corruption and Public Complaint Commission on Monday indicted the emir and recommended his suspension.

The Chief of Staff to the Emir, Munir Sanusi, who confirmed the receipt of the query, said the state government sought the response of the emir within 24 hours regarding allegations of misappropriation of funds.

“We received the query today (Thursday). The state government has demanded the response of His Highness within 24 hours. The council is studying the content,” he said.

Does this idiot has the moral obligation to question Emir Sanusi on missing fund.

Sanusi has been caught in a web and it will be extremely hard to extricate himself. I don't envy him at this moment.

Instead of responding to the query, the Emir should either honorably resign and leave the throne for Ganduje or approach the court to stop any further action on the probe. After all the governor once plead with the court to stop his probe of his babanriga dollar stuffing clips.

Only in Nigeria, can a babaringa magician called gandollar will be bold while hiding behind instruments of power to issue a query on misappropriation of funds.

How ironic and grossly unsurprising.

APC n Buhari n well meaning Kano indigin should call Ganduje to order, disgrace your emir will only have a negative impact in his state,
Whoever that knows this man should try n appeal to him to keep his sword n stop his mission.
We know that governor can play politics and remove the emir or king but he should trend it softly.

All of them are bad people.
Same allegation of financial recklessness kept hovering over him as CBN governor.
I haven't forgotten how Sanusi was said to be using CBN money to hire private jets to travel to Lagos and rent suites at federal palace hotel Lagos, to sleep with one of his married staff,Mrs Maryam Yaro.
When govt GEJ started investigations into his financial recklessness,he decided to come up with false allegations that $50 billion was missing.Later changed it to 25 billion and finally 20 billion all in a bid to paint the then govt bad.
