NCC need to always be all eyes on Our network providers!

I don't know if anyone had fallen victim of this with #GLOMOBILE

#Glo, on top of poor service delivery has devised another means to defraud innocent Nigerians with an evil-intentions promotion tagged 5X recharge upon dialing *555*rechargepin# which doesn't reflect on the main account and only lasts 24hours.

See the #FRAUD!
If you are intending to recharge your phone and you mistakenly dial *555* as though you are recharging an MTN voucher, the Glo voucher gets loaded all the same leaving you frustrated if you had wanted to use the airtime for other intended purposes like Data subscription, etc.

I felt cheated!

The networks are planing universal recharge pin.
So whenever you buy pin ,it will no longer be classified as mtn,glo or airtel you just recharge. So airtime seller will not complain that there is no market, because who come to buy card will not say give me glo or mtn card but just give me card.

Maybe *555*pin# is what is agreed on and only known my mtn subscribers so other network is advertising the pin to their customers

It just came to my mind to search "Glo *555* recharge fraudulent" and voila I saw this page at the top of the results. Monday5, I find it interesting that you put this in the crime section, too. cheesy

Two years after and Glo still continues this trash. I can't remember seeing any other network use a recharge code of rival network for special recharge but Glo.

This happened to me few minutes ago (for the second time). I became aware of the 5X bonus more or less after the first mistake. Imagine loading to buy data (and manage their network) and you get this shock.

Seeing that the network has been allowed to continue using this code is simply another manifestation of the despondency-inducing state of the country. Things that work as they should are far outnumbered by those not working.

NCC is practically useless as far as I am concerned. They'd make you go through protocols all for nothing!
