There is general tension presently across Imo State especially Orlu zone over the death of a popular Councilor said to have died from teargas inhaled during protest of Local government officials over their attempted sack by new Governor Emeka Ihedioha. Some people said the governor sent some security men who beat up the protesting councilors including Honorable Oscar Ikenna who later died from resultant complications.
