Why would anyone invest in biafuro that they'll soon leave Nigeria or even destroy the whole refinery out of bitterness. Oga carry your money go your state and don't risk putting your money in the land of these hateful people.

Those quotes are very very true indeed! Let's wait and see how these Okoro Savages would wanna lay ownership claims to the great guy's investments.

Seun has to monitor tribalists like you. Of all South East States, three has oil: Imo, Anambra and Abia.

Let’s wait and between this modular refinery and the Dangotes which would have a lower operational cost.
Closeness to raw material source is a big advantage in any industry that requires bulky materials like crude.
Competition is the key in market driven economy.

Hmmm

I guess the former governor did something after all

He provided an enabling environment for this to happen

Please any imo indigenes here? How is the security situation in imo?

How open is it to non indigene investors ?

Is there an active expatriate community there ?

You have nothing to worry about bro. Forget those simpleton who carry rumours that the East is barren and inhabitable ... there are lots of non indigenes there. I was looking at my second facebook account few days ago only to discover that there is this Yoruba lady that does fashion design and constantly posting on facebook... she is based in Enugu.

I will never call any land barren in Nigeria... I would even love to go to the North for potential export business intimation but the bad security reports emanating from that side has been giving me second thoughts. I hope that things turn out all right

OP he is not assisting anyone, he is investing his money to make profit.
KingOdart:
Abdurazak Isa is one of those few Nigerians who are assisting the nation with their personal wealth to improve its downstream sector.

According to @ovieali on twitter, Isa invested the sum of N7 billion into the building of a modular refinery which will not only help the nation to meet its petrol demands but will provide more jobs and reduce the imports of refined crude oil.

The twitter handle also added that the project is nearing completion as Isa’s modular refinery threatens the position of oil marketers in the country and will replace situation where the nations spends so much importing petrol products.

Look at what militancy has caused! The best place to set up would have been a major oil producing state but rather, chose a state devoid of militancy and the hypocritical extortion that is associated deeply with it.

Will he not create jobs for the host community?

Will allied businesses not spring up around the refinery?

Will access roads and other amenities not be built in the host community to facilitate refinery operations?

Will he not carry out CSR projects eventually?

The investment is a mutually beneficial one and there is no doubt the Imo community will benefit greatly from Abdulrazaq Isa's developmental strides.
