Masturbation is a form of lust. All forms of immorality are evil and sinful, you cannot explain that away. If you think Lasciviousness, licentiousness, and all forms of lust cannot be equated to Masturbation simply because the word 'Masturbation' is not in the Bible, well, I've spoken my mind. Guy if you have given your life to Christ, good. But stopping masturbating has to do with how determine you are. I have learned one thing the op said. He said masturbation comes and go. And is true. I have prayed fervently to stop and still go back masturbating. But I know I will stop it. I am more determine now than ever.

Masturbation is one spirit which the devil imposes on people through Lust and through continuous practice of the same. Since it started in a day, it will not need more than a day to permanently end.

Surely there is an end and your expectation shall not be cut off. Proverbs 28 vs. 10. You must believe that masturbation is an evil spirit and not a habit. That’s why even married men and women are still involved in it today. Overcoming it is impossible because it’s not a temptation; understand this, it’s a spirit. It is a personality, if it was an ordinary habit, then fasting and prayers could have been able to deal with it. But prayers and fasting can’t handle it.

Masturbation is even more common with Christians, the devil deceives them that it’s only a habit and not even the main thing, I want you to know that its one loop hole the devil uses to torment Christians.

Apart from causing delays and disappointment, it is a bondage chaired by a spirit. But with God all things are possible. It is a sin but sin has been dealt with by Jesus Christ and as a result of this it cannot have dominion over you. Masturbation is not like every other sin, it is a deceitful sin. It is a spirit that does not stay with you but comes and goes.

You don’t get delivered from it because it doesn’t stay, rather it comes and goes. So you might feel delivered today and then captured tomorrow by this same spirit.

But Christ is the head of all principalities and powers; you are just about to experience permanent freedom. How I wish you know what it is to live a sin-free life. You will never like to be yoked with it again. Christ has made us free more than 2000 years ago which means freedom from any form of sin is possible.

HOW THEN CAN YOU PERMANENTLY WALK OUT ON MASTURBATION?

The spirit of masturbation like I said before does not reside in an individual rather it comes and goes. So prayers and fasting will only make it stronger because you can fast for 7 days and break your fast with masturbation when it comes.
It is good to understand the two ways in which it comes so that you will avoid it totally.

It first of all comes through LUST, LUST, I MEAN PICTURES OF IMMORALITY, REAL OR IMAGINATION, FILM OR PHOTOGRAPHS, and WORDS OR MUSIC. LUST IS THE MESSENGER OF MASTURBATION, IT IS THE FORERUNNER OF MASTURBATION OR FORNICATION AS THE CASE MAY BE, SO IF YOU CAN HANDLE LUST YOU CAN HANDLE MASTURBATION.

Lust however is the forerunner of masturbation; it is who masturbation sends to pave the way before he visits. Note that masturbation does not reside in any individual; it rather comes and goes so it is impossible to stop it through prayers and fasting, you can only learn how to avoid it by minding what you see, hear, read or listen to, beware of immorality imposed videos, video musical and so on. In as much as masturbation does not reside, but lust resides in the mind of an individual and as a result of this, attracts the spirit of masturbation.

After this act of masturbation is completed guilt steps in .This spirit hates when you are guilty, so he keeps coming till you become ‘unguilty’, but this shall not be your portion in Jesus name. God is going to help you out; He is already helping you out through this message.

Your mind needs to be renewed daily with Gods word for Lust to finally leave you alone.

Masturbation also comes through pre lust that is thoughts of yester years that portrays immorality. Masturbation comes also when you are depressed, so decide to rejoice always in Jesus Name. You can handle Lust by casting down every imagination on the spot. 2nd Corinthians 10 vs. 3 to 5. You cast it down on the spot. And when you have done that you ignore it and get busy. I mean really get busy, idleness of the mind can arouse Lust.

The reason why when you cast out lust it still remains is because you do not have enough of Gods word in your heart. So labor in Gods word, you must be lost in Gods word to overcome lust which will finally put an end to masturbation. Romans 12 vs. 1.

There are times when the spirit of masturbation just comes on you without the thought of lust, but this is because depression and idleness attracted it.

back then i usually cry all the time because of that sin ,i see myself different from other people because it was getting out of hand, i cant pray for anything, and it will come to pass because the sin hold all my prayers captive nothing good were coming then

i kneel down in sincere prayer to God that knows what am passing through with final determination to overcome masturbating no more masturbating in my life
i banned watching of pornography(because pornography drives masturbating) in my life no more pornography i cant let my flesh control me any longer
after that prayer i fill relief i wipe every explicit content on my phone
after some days the feeling was coming but i have determined in prayer already never to go back to that sin

When you talk about quitting masturbation, I'm assuming that whoever wants to quit it has come to the point where masturbation has turned into a habit and is constantly interfering with that person's ability to live ideally.

Quitting masturbation is pretty easy. The hardest part is summoning the courage, determination and will-power to engage the process.

My advice would be to follow the Alcoholic Anonymous' 12 steps.
Personally making the decision to quit masturbation is step 1. Because you have admitted that there is a problem. You have also shown that you're willing to work towards solving this problem.

Next, you have to accept that you're powerless over the urge and desire. If you keep thinking that you can quit masturbation at anytime you so desire, you've already lost. You will not quit it. This is step 2

Step 3, Get rid of everything and anything that can trigger the urge to masturbate. If you have a secret porn stash, get rid of it. Okay, what about the web address to porn sites in your head? Well, you can't have your memory formatted so the best thing you can do here is to consciously make sure you're not dwelling on those addresses. With time, memory decay will occur and you'll forget nost of these websites.

Step 4. This is the most important step. What you have to do is ask for help from Whomever you serve. In other words, seek help from a Higher power. In this case, the Higher power is God. To do this, first accept that you're Justified by Faith and make the decision to only interest yourself in the things of God. Make learning about God a daily activity. There are devotionals you can use to this effect.

Step 5. Constant communication with God is important. At every point, believe that God is beside you all the time and talk to Him like you were talking to a person who's beside you physically and who can also hear your thoughts. It doesn't have to be out loud all the time (I alternate between talking out loud and internal vocalization). Tell Him about your fears, ask Him to help you out in times of weakness and remind Him of His promise not to let you into temptation that's more than you can resist. Apart from deepening your relationship with God, you're also tricking your mind into believing you are not alone, physically, wherever you are. Step 5 shouldn't only be done when you get the urge to masturbate.

Step 6. Read the Bible, study it.

Step 7. Masturbation is not a spiritual problem. It is an urge/desire just like any other. Practice the first 6 steps and you'll be on your way to quitting the habit. The first few days of connecting with God and abstaining from masturbation will be difficult. Your resolve will be tested. But if you can refocus your commitment and show determination in those moments, you'll get through it.
