Togo: 5 Igbos seriously lynched for killing a girl

Five Nigerian nationals nearly lost their lives in a popular lynching Monday in Lome. Accused of killing a Togolese girl after sleeping with her, they were saved only by the intervention of law enforcement and security forces.


It is anger currently in Attiégou and Hedzranawoe neighborhoods in Lomé. Several young Togolese have declared Ibos (Nigerian nationals) persona non grata in the country.

In any case, the 5 Nigerian nationals were seriously lynched by a crowd of young Togolese raging and who are determined to avenge their "sister" killed in the prime of life.

This guys done nothing wrong and no girl was rape none killed. The way Togolase are killing our Igbo brothers is too much and fucking Nigeria Embassy is doing nothing about it.
