The landlord may be doing something good ...some of his tenants may be peeping into his house or sitting dia to listen to his conversations. ....attimes its best to avoid wahala but such wires...

I don't blame him. From casual sitting by one or two persons that place can easy become a hangout for touts and thieves.
Though it would have been more respectable to just fence the compound.
