Nigerian hypocrisy is on another level. We didn't create this game of football and we can't love this game more than the British, Brazilian and Spanish. How many times have we seen state governors in other countries abandoned the enormous jobs of providing good governance for his people and run after a national team. This country is a disgrace in so many levels. Just because accountability is not considered a measure of good governance in our nation. He should explain to the people of his state how much is expended on that trip and who will be responsible for it. That small money can change a life in his state.

then again we should ask how many investors has he been able to woo into investing in Abia state. Later if or when he gets arrested by EFCC for misappropriation of public fund, some people will start saying he's been witch hunted. LOL.
Selective prosecution is the problem here and that could be seen as a form of witch-hunt, a sledge hammer to cow your opposition into submission.
And that is why, Nigerian politicians have no ideologies. They stand for nothing and hence fall for anything.

That's a typical example of a failed leader/Governor in a failed state. See him Tommy like Papa Ajasco own. Anyway, small boy big God. I heard he used to be a waste collector before his God-fathers picked him up for gubernatorial seat and here he is managing waste!!

Ikpeazu is always foolishly smiling while Abia state workers are dying of hunger. No salary.

Haters get your facts correctly, he only honoured an invitation by CAF as Enyimba FC state Governor. Google it!

No haters, the man simply do not know what governance is all about. I'm not even into the PDP or APC bullsh!t that people often bandy about here. He is simply not doing his job he was elected to do. If there is a state of emergency repair or meeting that he was invited to in part of his state, the possibility of turning it down while claiming to be "busy" is there.

Many of our leaders behave this way simply because the system allows irresponsible people to lead. It is a pity.

Good to know you don't bandy the APC or PDP stuff. My question is, what can a responsible man do with infrastructural constraints from FG? If you were in his shoes what action plan or blueprint would you adopt to remedy the situation?

The "billionaire" part got me... Nigerian Bloggers have actually created more fictional billionaires than Forbes.

Spray enough 1 dollar bills in an occasion and you attain that status.

I'd curtail my expenses. Nigerian leaders all run a government of excesses and "compensation" What does a governor do with over 250 special advisers for crying out loud? Or the usual 30-vehicle entourage? Or the crazy allowances they constantly dole out to their cronies and to themselves? If there is not enough money to run a state, is it best to squander the little on excesses and gallivanting the globe under the guise of "seeking for investors" or other fimsy excuses? These guys are super wasteful. I tell my friends that are in government same to their face.
