Rugan Fulani. Using Jigawa State as a Case Study.

Farmers and Herdsmen can co-exist in peace.

Rugan Fulani.

Nature of my work takes me from state to state within the confines of the Country in the River Niger Area called Nigeria.

Talking strictly from experience from my state to state visit, I was fascinated by my discovery is Jigawa State.

I worked in Auyo Local Government of Jigawa State very close to Hadejia Local Government.

Auyo has a 52 kilometer Dam built as far back as the Shehu Shagari Regime.

This Dam is for no other thing but for availability of water for all year round farming.

Dangote happens to be building a Rice mill along the Auyo road.

I made mention of that so you know how much of massive Rice farming goes on in Auyo LGA in Jigawa State.

Let me categorically state that I have never in my life seen large farms as I saw in Jigawa State.

Jigawa produces Local Rice, Maize. Millet, Wheat etc and also has about the largest population of cattles I ever saw all my life.

What is my point and where am I driving at?

Cultivating this large Hectares of land isnt just done manually but by some locally mechanised mechanisms.

Big hefty cattles and Bulls are used to till the soil in massive expansive lands.

The cows in question works on farmlands without eating a grain of farm produce.

Becos their mouths are sealed off.
Because they have standing laws and orders within the community protecting both farmers and herdsmen.
When I dug further for more enquries, I was told that there are laid down punishments for any cow caught eating a single crop belonging to any farmer.

They have local policemen that arrests any cow that eats from anybody's farm till the cow owner comes to pay for whatever the cow had eaten.

Cow get sense for jigawa ooo. Seriously.

The Truth is, I was marveled by my discovery in Jigawa.

No trespass.

I can categorically say there is no state in Nigeria that has Cattle population as much as Jigawa and also there are no farming communities as large as those I saw in Jigawa State.

How come then Farmers and Herdsmen Clashes are never reported from Jigawa?

Probably because they Understand themselves in terms of Language and Religion.
2 and most importantly would be legislation.

The existing laws In these local government in Jigawa would Amuse you.

Cows dont Miss behave in Jigawa.

Jigawa Cows dont go about eating farmers produce and this I experienced first hand.

Coming to the "Ruga" issue. There are so many Ruga Fulani in Jigawa State already and it is a model that works, at least with commitment and understanding from both farmers and herdsmen we can have a violent free Nigeria where Herdsmen and Farmers live together in Peace.

Jigawa State is a good case study of what Herdsmen and Farmers harmonious relationships should look like.

Lets give peace a chance as there is no price too high to pay for peace even if it means establishing Ruga

If Ruga would bring lasting peace between Herdsmen and Farmers then let it be and lets stop dragging and politicising what shouldnt be politicised.

Life is so sacred and so sacrosanct and nobody should lose their life as a result of clashes between herdsmen and Farmers.

Lets value life. Lets give peace a chance.

Mr man or whoever you are: Ruga will never be accepted in the south. NEVER! Let it remain in the north where it belongs. Tell whoever is paying you for this propaganda to shift and park well.

The north have enough land mass to pasture all the cows in Africa. They have dams and rivers that could be used for irritation purposes, to water grasses and so on. It's so suspicious that they fulanis are hell bent on rearing their cattle in the south. I am now beginning to believe that there is more to this than cattle rearing. Some people are obviously on a jihad of a sort.

Mr OP...have they not started RUGA in the 14 willing states? Why are you crying more than the bereaved? So cows can behave up north but once it crosses the river, Niger, it starts to misbehave abi?

If their cows were behaving down south as they're behaving up north, the problem would solely have been tackling the terrorist among them.

Look at the map attached...everything from the green states up is the North. Checkout their landmass and see how it dwarfs the south in comparison. Now can you by chance understand how selfish and insensitive it is for the GMB's federal government to be pushing for RUGA to be established in the south? Is it right to use taxpayers money to upgrade MACBAN's business processes?

If you don't, then you and this administration are self-centered and up to no-good.

Op obviously you are educated but naive.

Ruga is not about having peace between herders and farmers. Ruga is land grab from Nigerians to foreign fulanis.
The earlier you know this the better for you.

Presently there are 5 million fulanis in Nigeria, 2 million of them are indigenous, and have scattered themselves in the critical sector of the economy and the military, the other 3 million are foreign fulanis who have been brought in by the indigenous fulanis to look after their cattle.

Ruga, when fully established will accommodate 60 million fulanis from the whole of west Africa.

Do you really want all west African Fulani to troop into Nigeria?

Breaking News: Federal govt budget $11b to lobby SE/SS for land for the Ruga Settlement

According to the intelligence report received a few hours ago. Our agent said that the Federal budget about $11b to lobby SE/SS states for a land for the Ruga Settlement project. The states include: Anambra Abia Imo Enugu Ebonyi others are Akwa Ibom. Cross River. Bayelsa. Rivers. Delta. Edo. The states will share $1b each. It is said that the federal govt have three options to get the required hectares of land needed from the two regions.

According to the report the first will be to lobby (Bribe) the influential people in each state to help convince their people on the need to have Ruga Fulani settlement in the state and also influence or force the governor to release land for the Ruga project. The states will also be lobbied with ministerial appointment, board members into choice govt parastatals etc.

The second option will be to buy hectares of land from each state through a third party. We also learnt that the govt has met with some influential people in the affected states to begin looking for large hectares of land. Some traditional rulers are said to be involved the deal.

The third option will be to take land by forcing it on the people. This, they have done in Benue state. They will do it by creating chaos and division and disagreement among the people of the states. Which may lead to arm conflict. The government will then declare state of emergency and inviting the army and forcefully take over the states and create Ruga settlement for the Fulani

The intelligence reports also revealed that Buhari travel to Saudi Arabia immediately after the inauguration was to finalise the South west land deal with Saudi Arabia planned to hand over Buhari for the Ruga Settlement. You may recall that I once mention that the Fulani already got all the land they wanted from south west through Saudi Arabia

Bellow is the excerpt

Arab world headed by Saudi Arabia bought hectares of land in this state for Bio Fuel Agriculture. The states include: Ekiti, Ondo, Osun, Kwara, Kogi, Benue, Gombe, Bauchi, Zamfara, Kano, Kaduna, Nasarawa and Plateau, but now we know why they bought the lands. They bought the lands for future Fulani settlement because of desertification in Fulani states and countries in Africa and also for expansion of Islam. This is the reason the Fulani herdsmen cannot be stopped because they believe they are grazing on their land. The states mentioned above are the states Buhari govt wants to create Ruga settlement.

This game started long ago. Buhari was ordered by the Fulani world Council to make space for settling the Fulani as desertification encroaches. It is also in tune with their age long propensity for conquest, violence and political domination. It also is in tandem with radical Islam's jihad, which is being spearheaded by the same Fulani. Remember also his pledge that Sharia must be spread.

The Fulani attacks will bring two results. Gain more territories to resettle the Fulani and spread Islam and Sharia. The Fulani world Council is using prominent Fulanis in Nigeria like El-Rufai, Buhari, etc. to create a conducive atmosphere to resettle Fulani of West and Central Africa in Nigeria. Remember Buhari has been the main patron of the Miyetti Allah group since 1998.

These attacks started two years later in the year 2000. The first organisation that visited Buhari in Abuja and the first meeting Buhari held in Abuja after one month in office was the meeting with the OIC. The meeting was attended by all the heads of state from Muslim countries. No journalist was allowed to cover the meeting and what was discussed in the meeting has not been made open to the public, as we speak. Fulani and the Arab world colonisation of Nigeria is about to complete

Enough is enough and this time we have to do it our way, we must stop eating cow meat and lets see how this their cow business will thrive .
This is the time and we must put our heads together.
Less we forget this mad people the herders always have sex with this cows before they are sold and slaughtered for meat, this is done for sexual gratification and ritual purposes .The meat is charmed, that is why the herders don’t eat cow only goat and chicken.
