Mrs A accuses Mr A of rape on social media, the court of social media filled with emotional, senseless and foolish judges, declare him guilty as charged simply because of the "words" of Mrs A-no proofs, nothing.

I pity foolish people especially foolish men who do not understand the pattern that is been formed- where a bitter woman could just wake up one morning when you're made and head straight to the court of social media and accuse you of something devastating as rape to even scores because she knows she needs show no proof, just her words.

Do we start reeling out the false and baseless rape accusations that have been made in the past, by senile women who headed straight to online courts to get back at men? These fortunate men were only lucky to escape these accusations.

If as a woman, a man forces himself on you against your will, head straight to the authorities- police, courts and lawyers and file a report. What that does for you is even if you're denied justice, when you come out on social media and scream, there are artifacts that you can reference to back up your claim. It makes logical people see reason with you.

Times have changed, women who are GENUINE victims of rape in this part of the world, are getting justice. Don't let any ediot deceive you that rape cases cannot be proved and that the judicial system does not support rape victims. It is a bloody lie.

Right here on nairaland we read the story of the Rivers lawmaker who allegedly raped a hotel worker. Her sister carried out a lone protest. Apparently, there were witnesses who heard her scream. Police took up the case and the lawmaker was on the run. This is the story of a woman who is not even in the middle class but in the poverty line. If that woman comes tomorrow to detail how the lawmaker raped her, there are artefacts, witnesses she can lay hold on to to give credence to her claims.

Some men cannot see that far, that's why they have joined the band wagon shouting crucify him, crucify him... without even asking for evidence first.

Okay

You know the shameful thing about this case?

Here on Nairaland we have men defending rape, even to the point of denying that someone can be raped.

We also have people defending a man that has been accused, apart from the rape, of multiple philandering, one of whose victims has left Christianity as a result...and who has not acknowledged he sinned with her.

The sad thing is like Ese Walter case...this one too would be swept under the carpet, and nothing will be done. Because we must defend our god and master the Pastor from the antics of 'oloshos'...

Seems like Nigerians christianity get work. Christian men justifying rape, and christian men justifying sleeping around...even after marriage, all in the name of a man.

I'm sorry, but sometime, sometime, God is going to come down heavily on the Church. God is not mocked. God is not hearing our parayers about Boko, Sister Leah and so on , because we are not a godly people.

Time for repentance. Before things change in Nigeria....Christians got to change. No two ways about it.

I guess you voted for Buhari grin grin grin

Chuk chuk have destroyed destinies. If Adam, Samson. Solomon etc all jews fell, who be Nigerian man wey go escape consequences of she- honeypot?

This whole rape saga is getting more interesting. To think those who are protesting against the rape scandal on COZA are been promised 10,000 by an anonymous person shocked, this isn't a good development for the Dakolos'. Who's promising them this money? undecided

Sorry to dissapoint you, I did not. I did not vote for PDP either.

Both parties are not willing to make the hard choices to make Nigeria better. Remove subsides, deal with corruption, insuecurity, etc..

Both of them are just vehicles for some guy to take power, and continue the same old show.

Anyway....I doubt people for or against Fatoyinbo can be linked to just one party...

I laugh people say go to court. Just a reminder, you can have a justifiable case and still lose a case in the court. That don't make you a liar, it just means your truth wasn't up to the standards of the lies levied on you.

you are a very wise person. Wiser than millions of Nigerians. You can't come to social media and make baseless allegations against a man to buy people sympathy.
As it stands its an allegation and nobody can substantiate it unless evidence are presented.

People with questionable characters and the so called 'yeyebrity' are the ones shouting crucify him, crucify him as if they have moral rights to do so. Besides, the man has not been proved quilty so why the condemnation every where? I suspect foul play here even though I stand against rape. I learnt some people were even paid to protest today, that means there is more to it than meet the eye. Now that attention has been diverted from the real issue facing Nigeria, what is next?

If it was in the days of the prophets, you would have since kissed the dust of the grave because you won't be alive to make this comment. Are you holy or clean?

This is a matter for the security agencies to investigate the rape allegations and not some meaningless banter on the streets and the disruption of a church service.

There are laws to handle these kinds of issues. An allegation remains an allegation until proven otherwise by the courts of law.

It's a sensitive matter that should be handled professionally.

Ask yourself this : should such a thing ever be traced to a pastor? Have you questioned yourself why Adeboye, Kumuyi or Oyedepo had never been accused of such before?

You may not like to accept it, but Fatoyinbo us promiscuous and a serial adulterer.

Now, you ask yourself this: Is adeboye, kumuyi, oyedepo as flamboyant as fatoyinbo?

Fatoyinbo is a bubbling guy and these bitches won't just let him be, hence the reason why he's always in the news, particularly on rape accusations...

You and I know the extent some pained women can go just to destroy a nigga.

Had it been that Neymar had none of those evidence he showed to prove that the sex was consensual, by now many people would crucified him.

It's time for us not to be satisfied by mere claims of rape.

Always ask for the proof, so that justice can be apportioned properly.

Or else... no man is safe again from these women.

Imagine a bitch I may have wronged in the past coming out now to say I raped her, and just like that e don be for me!

No na.

That ain't good.

He actually had sex with the lady but it was never a rape, there might be little resistance from the girl but she later allowed the pastor to have his way. wink

Thank u jare. I dont know why pple are making a fuss about it. people likely just want the said man to confess he had some carnal knowledge of her. But its a stretch to believe the lady's story of multiple rape encounters. In fact, it is foolish to believe so. Some of the men who are defending the lady have most likely had sex with an 18yr old before - believe me, they've not just sat down to think yet. I am the last person in this world to be moved by a lady's words.

If they should get to the very bottom of the issue, believe me, Timi Dakolo's heartbreak would likely lead to heart attack. Let them keep fooling themselves. No be naija ladies? Na today?

Exactly, I love people responding to allegations in a matured and secured way.

Very nice start.

I would have loved to be there, present at the church just to learn how to be brave and worry free.

When the church closes and members are on their way out, the protesters will keep shouting and raising their boards, but church members don't give a dame.

I am very sure the protesters will be tired since it is not affecting or having any impact on them.

He is still innocent as we speak. Only the court decides if he is innocent or guilty.

Things should be done in a proper and peaceful way.

I believe there must have been a consensual relationship between the Pastor and the accuser that led to the intimacy (sexual inter course) between them years ago. There is no way it would have been rape.

I think this rape accusation is personal.

Almost everybody have be condemning this pastor guy, what about if the accurser was into secret relationship with the pastor in the past and come out now to accurse him of rape..? My point is that if the said pastor is just a poor guy, I don't think this woman will be shouting rape. I think both the pastor and the lady were into secret affair that later went wrong. I totally condemn rape, it will be great if both womem and men speak out on time on rape allegations to make it easier for the security agency to get evidence.

The way Nigerians busy protesting against the coza pastor guy give room for concern. Ese Walter few years ago made a revelation against this same pastor and not 1 protest was done because she was not a celebrity with lots of sycophant follows and friends
A guy was arrested in Abuja for protesting against hardship he was arrested by DSS and nobody protested for his release, a young man was killed by SARS a while ago, it made news and nobody protected for his family to get justice, Millions go missing daily from government cofers, whistle are blow and nobody cares to protest. We turn a blind eye to these things but now that it turns out to be a pastor who these sycophants see as been unable to take action because anything he says or does woukd be used against him they're out there.why don't we allow Mrs dakolo head to court and file charges against the pastor if she thinks she's got good enough alibi to nail him.
We need to stop this media trials.
