It's always about the Doctors after all... president Buhari present posthumous ECOWAS award of excellence to the son of late Dr. Stella Adadevoh for her mother's supreme sacrifice and heroism for Nigeria in the fight against Ebola outbreak but who cares about her: Ns. JUSTINA EJELONU(BNSC,EBSU 2010)..She paid the supreme price as well just like Dr. Adadevoh..both of them were colleague at the same hospital.shes full of life, Energetic,agile,a professional per excellence with a bright future and descent aspiration. She was the shining light of her family and a beckon of hope for better life to her parent & siblings.. until she lost the fight to the cold hands of Ebola while on active duty. She met her untimely date at First consultant hospital Lagos after attending to Patrick Sawyer, the Liberian diplomat and the first Ebola victim in Nigeria.. Justina was two months pregnant,her fiancee, Dennis had fixed their wedding for October but the sudden twist of faith never allowed it..she fought till the last minute..she was a proud Nurse till the last breath..She paid the ultimate price for humanity and country..her patriotism knew no bound..Now the pressing questions now are:
*How come she wasn't remember or recognized for this occasion?
*Why was she not giving the same posthumous award as Adadevoh?
*What was the difference between her and Adadevoh?
Until this salient questions are answered in clear terms...I weep for Nigeria Nurses..
