A Nigerian lecturer has died after being mobbed in kyrgyzstan, a country in Central Asia.

Aliyu Tijjani suffered a racist attack in Bishkek Kyrgyzstan. As a result of the attack, he went into coma and never recovered.

He passed away last night in a hospital 2 days later.

His relatives have taken to Twitter to ask for justice with the hashtag #JusticeForAliyuTijjani.

A video of the deceased bleeding from his head as he medics struggled to save his life has also been shared online.

Normally I would agree with you that home is best, but if he lived here in Nigeria, he could have also been killed for no good reason... either by police, robbers, kidnappers, accident, fake drugs, easily-curable disease, tanker explosion, gas explosion, flood, etc. What's the point of living in a shithole and then dying, when at least you can enjoy life small, before dying?

I can't even understand this.

There are things to study before one decides to migrate to any place.

1. Is there a considerable number of black people where i am going?

2. If yes, what is their demographic?
Black from Ghana, Jamaica or UK?

These questions are pertinent when going to an eastern country with funny names.

Some Nigerians do talk as though they are fools. About four to five years ago an incident happened in Anambra state involving some Chinese Nationals working for Innoson motors. these Chinese nationals were kidnapped by gunmen ,taken into the bush and had one of them killed just because the ransoms the gunmen demanded were not met. Several other foreign nationals have also been victims of abduction and torture in Nigeria over the past ten years. I am not in anyway supporting what happened to the Nigerian who died, but we should not outrightly condemn others when they treat us badly because we sometimes do the same. Just imagine the young Chinese who was working to help a local auto company stand only to have his life cut short by Nigerians.

if people tell you you should be proud of your origin as a proud African, I tell you it is not the same case with Nigeria when you are out of this country. it is better to lay low on your profile as a Nigerian than sorry. this country has gone too far in incurring bad reputation outside, you should use your brain not your heart to make judgement so you don't carry the cross of sins committed by other Nigerians.
