No doubt we all use or should I say used OLX, not until Jiji acquired the site and also took down the app, from Playstore and also Apple App Store, no doubt OLX was better to some users than Jiji, but my question now is why did they have to take down the app, A few of us here on Nairaland are not happy with this news, I created a thread earlier, because I wasn’t too sure if the news was true, and another Nairalander did the same, I’ll be very honest here, I have made a lot of money on OLX, compared to Jiji, left to me I think the managers at Jiji team didn’t even think this through, it’s like when Mark Zuckerberg bought Instagram and what’s app, he didn’t have to draw traffic from what’sapp.com or Instagram.com to Facebook, he left those apps the way they were and with subsequent updates, those apps got better, but he still makes money from them, enough said already, I’m pleading with all existing users of OLX, we existing users of OLX want OLX back, if you stand with me, I have already tweeted at Jiji with the hashtag #bringbackolx, together we can make this happen. Just head over to tweeter and do same, hopefully they will hear our cry. You can also reply their pinned tweet, just so they can see it faster, I think that is the most precious tweet to them at the moment.
