Heyyy my peeps, hope you're all excited to read through this post cause I know I'm super excited to write about it.

So for a while, I've been wanting to write about this topic but I've been scared that I would annoy some people or maybe say the wrong things and all but right now I'm telling you...I don't care anymore.

I may or may not step on anyone's ego while writing this but as early as now , you should know I mean no harm and I'm out here trying to speak for the white, light skinned, fair(whatever phrase you'd rather use) African girls everywhere...

Moving on... first,i want to appreciate every light skinned African girl out there trying to survive in a country where we are constantly being bullied emotionally... you all are great.

Being a light skinned African frica girl is more than just colour, it's being able to mentally restrain yourself from getting a surgery and turning dark.

Being a light skinned african girl is living for months without using any cream because you're constantly in a state of confusion on which cream would suit you better and wouldn't darken you or make you fairer before you hear "I said it, she is bleaching"...and yes, someone once said this to me and you might not know it, but the emotional hurt it brought was more than any physical pain you could take.

Being a light skinned african girl is constantly having to see people who are filled with jealousy and hate say to someone or in some cases directly to you these words
She wouldn't even be fine if she wasn't fair
Okay...so?...I'm fair and I'm fine... who's going to change that?..you?...nahh. Even if that's the case, it has happened and that's reality and you can't do anything about it. The hate is just too much and it's emotionally draining. I've witnessed cases where a black girl would tell someone after I've passed that "let her colour be gone and you'll see"...are you for real right now?. For one, I don't have a massive nose, I don't have a fugly eyes, my lips are in good shape and my face is just perfect for me so what makes you think I still wouldn't steal the attention from you if I was dark?...I'm sure this is the plight of most, if not all the white Africans girl.
