@XhosaNostra I know you're happy right now that we lost.... angry

I just found out now. I really don't feel anything about it. You win some, you lose some, that's how the game goes. Better luck next time & that goes for both teams. They're out there with more money than I do at the end of the day lol.

It still hurts when it's one's own country though, but I quickly snapped out of it when I realized they would be getting a fat check while I get nothing for my hurt feelings.
It's OK, nothing spectacular.

Actually I was surprised. how can someone who writes well claim to be uneducated.
To my best knowledge, someone generally referred to as uneducated is someone who lacks enough information on general matters, and have poor awareness of his/her environment.
If not for the decadence of Africa education system. A high school graduate should be considered educated, since high school knowledge contains alot of information as stated by curriculum. But I know from paper that SA has good educational system.

Our education system is no longer good because they have lowered the passing mark, hence some can't even spell. Fortunately for me, I did high school when the passing mark was still 50%, plus I attended a good school with excellent teachers. I consider myself a professor in comparison to today's matriculants & most university graduates cheesy tongue
What's your major?

I majored in CS(Computing Science) actually, and my minor was Educational psychology. It was a dream course for me though and my future intention is to work in a big tech firm where I can show my skills, which isn't an easy task down here in Nigeria.

Since you're yet to go further in your education. Then a skill should have kept you busy then.

I see. Well, good luck in your future endeavours. Yes, I do have people skills. Anything that deals with one-on-one customer relations is my forte.

So you'll blame our poor showing tonight on a dark green jersey instead the coach? Stop believing crap.

So out of every team in the world its only Nigeria that kit color affects. Really?

I've told you the day Nigeria will play Afghanistan national team with the dark green jersey and lose, then I'll believe you

Or better still play Brazil with our first choice kit and maintaining the winning record.

Check out this thread on Front page, Even our celebrities and millions of other Nigerians are complaining about the green jersey....they know it brings badluck. (see the case of that nasty deflection that led to the 1st goal)

It is funny how you still can't see the pattern of our losses in the green jersey in major competitions.

I know you would have used this same analogy before we met Madagascar, but we all saw what happened in the game . Or do you want to tell me that Madagascar is tougher than Cameron & S.A?

There is something called "jinx" and even the whitemen you are emulating are aware of it.. Incase you have not been paying attention, when next you are watching European football, listen to the commentaries & at times you will hear the commentators make some statements like:

-Team "A" has never lost in the finals wearing red...

-Team "Z" has never lost a game whenever player ABC Scores

-Team "B" has never beaten Team "C" when player XYZ is paired with player ABC

I know you must have an idea of what I'm talking about now... These things have nothing to do with team performance, it's just an observation and it somehow works all the time......

It's the same observation I and many other Nigerians have made that we are most likely to lose each time we put on the Green Jersey.

Really? Maybe I didn't say it, but you relate to people well atleast from the little I have seen so far.

Human resource Management or "social Work" would be really nice for you, you know?

Yes, while still in high school I waited tables to make some pocket money, so I learnt a thing or two about customer care.
I actually want to go into HR too. Spot on! My dream job though was to become a criminologist, psychologist or psychiatry. That's my true calling because I like to psycho analyse people. It comes naturally to me. But the time it takes to qualify & become registered is what is discouraging me. I'm not built for time consuming studies. My attention span is like that of a flee.

yea I can relate to that part where the time to learn is really discouraging, but overtime I came to understand that many hypocritical people tends to pay more and give you much attention, the moment they know you're a professional. If your certification is from a recognised institution with great worth, good company are ready to pay triple for just being a decent graduate from a decent institution with additionally good grades.
So from then I just force myself to remain focused and become that so-called epitome of worth as much as possible.
I draw my strength from this school of thought...So if you really want companies, people and etc to take you places, you have to meet some expectation.
Certificatins takes you to the shores of the river, your personal skills helps you fish!
