The most prominent figure on the business news bulletin
Before each bulletin, the Business Anchor should not only write stories but proofread copy and edit it to his/her own reading style.
Takes all the elements of a newscast (packages, video, graphics, etc.) and compiles them into a cohesive show.
Work with the Bulletin Editors, Reporters and other editorial production staff during the construction of the news bulletin.
Must be a skilled reader and listener.
Must also be adept at ad-libbing during breaking news.
The Business Anchor is one of the most integral members of any news production team.
Occasional reportorial task
Other duties as assigned.



CRITICAL QUALIFICATIONS/SKILLS/EXPERIENCE

(IPE Factor: Knowledge)

Presentable and well groomed
Presentation skill
Solid news judgment
Effective communication skill
Teamwork/spirit
In-depth knowledge of current affairs
Outgoing personality
Working knowledge of Nigeria's Media
First degree in Mass Communication, English, Humanities or its equivalent. Post Graduate qualification will be an added advantage.

Minimum of five (5) years' experience in similar position.
