Reno Omokri, an ex-aide to former President Goodluck Jonathan has asked that the former president’s name be taken out of the list of unpatriotic Nigerians leaders who patronise foreign schools and hospitals.

Omokri was reacting to a comment by Tope Fasua, that one can not find a patriotic Nigerian leader whose children don’t school abroad and whose doctors are in the country.

Omokri asked that Jonathan be excluded from the list because his children school in Nigeria and it wasn’t publicised because of fear of Boko Haram attack.

He wrote via his Twitter handle on Saturday, Jonathan’s children schooled in Nigeria while he was President. We didn’t publicise it then so Boko Haram would not target them. His kids attended UNICAL and BIS, VI, Lagos. Please remove him from your list of unpatriotic leaders.

Recall that Vice president Yemi Osinbajo flew to the UK a few days ago to attend the graduation ceremony of his son, from a UK university.

Let the truth be told. I am disappointed in PMB and Osibanjo. Each passing day it is being revealed that the so called integrity and patriotism of PMB is just a fluke, While millions of poor and hungry almajiris are busy shouting sai baba, PMB and Osibanjo are sending their children to the best schools in UK.
They neglected our schools and their spoilt kids cruises around in expensive motor bikes and designers cloths.I

They are not even ashamed to pose for selfies with their sons and daughters in UK schools.
