On Friday I wanted to board a bike home,as I was about to mount a bike a woman i know (she knows me too) came to the bikeman she wanted to also board that same bike I was about to mount too,then the bikeman told her he wants to carry someone else then she discovered I was the one that wants to board the bike.she told me to go and board another bike,i refused.Before the bike took off she said“Nawa o children of this days”.A part of me is feeling i did the right thing while the other part of me feels i did something wrong.

I remember some years ago when I boarded a bus that was going from obalende to yaba. I took the last seat and it was rush hour.

That was when a friend of my mom’s came and told me to “come down na, you can wait for another bus. Let me follow this one”, although I was naive then, one bros sharply cleared her. If she wants to enter bus, let her wait. She wanted to use elder and familiarity to chance me.
