Bandits on Tuesday evening blocked the Ajebo axis of the Lagos-Ibadan Expressway and kidnapped three persons.

The Chief Medical Director of the Lafia Hospital, Apata, Ibadan, Oyo State, Dr. Oladipupo Sule, in an interview with The PUNCH on Wednesday said his son, Kayode and two members of staff of the hospital were kidnapped during the attack. According to him, the kidnapped members of staff are Opeyemi Abifarin and Dele Adigun.

Our correspondent gathered that the kidnappers blocked the road around 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday and abducted their victims. The hospital’s vehicle, a Toyota Sienna car, in which the victims were travelling as of the time of the incident, was abandoned by the kidnappers.

The CMD said the vehicle had been recovered by the policemen at the Ogunmakin Police Station in Ogun State. The family is still waiting for the kidnappers, who were said to be 15 in number, to contact the families of the victims.

Sule said, “I’m presently in Ogunmakin police station as I talk to you. I am distressed and seriously devastated. My son and two others went to Lagos to buy drugs for the hospital and were on the way back when they were ambushed and kidnapped. The driver said one of the kidnappers communicated in English and others were speaking in Hausa or the Fulani language. They have yet to talk to me for us to know what their real identities and intentions (are),” Sule added.

Why has Nigeria become so unsecured, other countries dey oo and we no dey hear this kind rubbish news about them.

What is the police and other security forces doing apart from chasing yahoo boys and IPOB protesters.

Indeed there was a country because i have never seen this height of insecurity in any country, even Columbia and Mexico with their deadly drug cartels are safer than this country called Zoogeria,

Sorry, the bolded is a slip of typing not slip of tongue.

We're in that era in Nigeria when one reads about something bad that happened somewhere in Nigeria and the person goes..... Next!!!!
The person feels indifferent about the bad news not because he/she has no conscience but because the country has almost shaped the thoughts of the people into believing that bad news is normal.

Will Nigeria ever get better?

I honestly don't know!!!!

Please I don't believe it, Fulani herdsmen are peaceful and go about their business, i grew up playing with them and their cows at Ikirun and Ijebu Igbo, we help them fetch water to feed their cows, so lets wait until they kidnap Ooni of Ife, Alaafin of Oyo or better still Oluremi Tinubu before we Yorubas can believe that its Fulani terrorist that have taken over Southwest forests that's perpetrating all these evil, until then, wait for APC and Buhari supporters from Yoruba land to come defend their terrorist leader cum Nigeria's president.

But I don't think its Fulani herdsmen because I cannot see their cow, if they were responsible for the kidnapping, we ought to have seen their cow near the scene undecided

Now, it's getting closer to home. From ife-Ibadan expressway to ore road to Lagos-Ibadan, they are advancing. Before you know it, ibafo, mowe will be hit and boom, Ojodu Berger! These are all well planned and strategic moves. Now we can start feeling a fair share of what our Northern folks felt in term of living in fear. The shiites guys are becoming audacious, tearing down Abuja, bandits and kidnappers (I won't call them herdsmen yet, too tricky) are gaining inroad down south, then the question begs, whither Nigeria?

You don't get his point. He is being sarcastic. He is indirectly making reference to tinubu and his Evans speach when interviewed by the press after death of elder statesman daughter.
Even me myself I will also ask "where are the cows"
