Just this week, I did a sub on Airtel for 750mb for 500 naira, in less than 20mins just only opening my Watsap, my data was exhausted. The thing surprised me, I knew getting it back would be an exhausting process knowing fully well the gimmicks these Telcos use tru their customer care agents. Na so I just jejely comot d sim.

This is d same 750mb I used for 2 weeks prior to now.

If you were part of the over 10,000 Mtn subscribers who involved in the MTN 128GB data glitch, this is their way to get back at you


I spent only 20GB before the error was fixed. And they began to wipe my data once I subscribed(so long I subscribed, wether I use it or not, they don't care) called CC and they told me "you used up your data". So I am abandoning my Mtn sim for the now, maybe until next year.

This comment u just made proves how much ignorant u are. U should just stop embarrassing urself. Whether it's 1930 movie or 2019 movie, so far they have the same resolution and same audio codec, both movies will be approximately the same size provided they are same leght. For u to get a 1960 movie in hd means it must have been remastered or upscaled. That increases its size. One of the major ways people cut on the size of HD videos is the kind of audio that accompany them. Adding 5.1 surround audio increases the file by 15-25%.

If u like stream on a tiny 3 inch phone, so far u are streaming at the same resolution, u use the same amount of data u would use when u stream that same video on a 60 inch TV. The only exception are some streaming services like Netflix which allow u to download low quality sd versions when on mobile phones while on tv there's no option to download, so it streams at the highest possible resolution that ur network speed can carry.
As for YouTube, the amount of data u use on a phone and tv are the same provided y stream at the same resolution.

can you tell me the difference between streaming and downloading? because the last I checked using YouTube downloaded to download HD videos of 1hr20mins is 220mb which is similar to streaming that same video online,this arguenent is getting old ,how many mb is in one gig 1000mb is in a gig ,I live you to do the maths,not all HD videos are as heavy as others.

You are right to some point because sometimes some of these ISPs deduct data at an extreme rate i.e they can deduct 1gb just by reading a mail which normally would cost 100kb to open. But normally a HD video is a video that is of 720pixels quality and above and normally 720p videos require like 800mb or more to stream for an hour (fact) but then there are other 720p videos that you'll stream for an hour and will consume just 400mb those types are not fully 720p videos because the length of the video in pixels is just 264pixels compared to the real 720p which both length and width are both 720pixels. But YouTube doesn't support the former but the latter. Maybe I don't know whether you see a video on YouTube with 720p HD attached to the video name then you think you are streaming it in 720p if so you may be wrong because the 720p attached to the name is the highest it can render to you but your phone or laptop may decide to stream it on 144p, 240p, 360p, or 720p depending on your connection speed!
