When some people say that Ugwuanyi is working, I worder whether this is what they mean. For a governor to keep quiet while the educational sector is dying in Enugu state shows how incompetent and insenstitive to the needs of Enugu people the governor is. I cried when I went round some schools in my local government, Igboeze North, in Enugu state. The state of schools especially the primary and secondary schools in Enugu state is mjnd boggling.
I lack words to express my shock here but I think Gov Ugwuanyi needs to look into the educational sector in Enugu state.

Besides the poor state of the schools I visited, the Education Board in the state is implementing unified examinations across all the state. This, they do by collecting levies across all the primary and secondary schools in the state. This has resulted to a situation where some schools will write an exam today and the nearby schools due to late provisions of the examination questions will not have theirs same day. This has reduced the examinations to mere copying and submitting of already written exams scripts by the students in schools that didnt write their examination same day with others. This situation was predominant across the state and has encouraged the already existing examination malpractice killing our educational sector.

Even though there is very little the people of Igboeze North will remember the governor for, I implore him not to abandon the schools our forefathers built with their hard-earned money.
