Experiencing the colorful and joyous celebration of the union of a couple is a wonderful experience. Ghanaian wedding is known to be filled with color, dance, music and also African fashion.

Kente ia a silk and cotton fabric made of interwoven cloth strips. It is a handwoven fabric make by Akans in the Ashanti, that is the Eastern and Brong-Ahafo regions of Ghana.

During their traditional wedding ceremony, their rich culture is displayed by the bride and the groom. They dress like royalty in their colored kente fabric and are adorned with gold jewelry. Their brides are also adorned with tekua, a traditional crown.
