Buhari’ s Personal Assistant on Social Media ,
Bashir Ahmad , have engaged one another over
the President ’ s photograph showing him among
his classmates at their Katsina Provincial
School in 1961 .
The President , then a young man in the
photograph , is seated fifth from left, with two
White men presumed to be their school
officials .
In the run - up to the 2015 and 2019 presidential
elections , issues about the President ’ s
certificate and academic qualification were
campaign topics .
Again , at the ongoing case brought before the
Presidential Election Petitions Tribunal by the
opposition PDP and its presidential candidate,
Atiku Abubakar , the President ’ s certificates also
featured prominently .
