SOWORE and his fellow rogues need operation lion smile, BURATAI please over to you.

Reading their demands it’s actually not bad and will change this country, if Buhari is serious about changing this country for good he shud better listen to them and stop this business as usual thing he’s been doing. Same path with his 2015 failure is what he seems to be following again. No sense of urgency until another election comes knocking.

The Organizers of the #RevolutionNow Protest have announced that the Protest will go on as planned despite the arrest of its leader, Omoyele Sowore. In a statement sent to POLITICS NIGERIA on Saturday morning, signed by the acting chairman, Kunle Wizeman Ajayi, they alleged that the Presidency was behind the arrest. Read below;"We have confirmed that Omoyele Sowore, the leader of the #RevolutionNow protests have been arrested.""This arrest is not surprising to us.

We know that the presidency has tried everything in their powers to discredit and dampen our struggle."

"For the past three days, the presidency has paid hugely to social media influencers and such others to discredit the #RevolutionNow all to no avail!"

"The presidency even went as far as attacking Amnesty International believing that their blackmails would appeal to Nigerians."

"They also paid some ex-activists to counter us publicly but the mass of working people stood by #RevolutionNow!"

"Lagos branch of the African Action Congress (AAC) condemns Sowore's arrest and Buhari's stubborn and cruel anti-democratic credentials. We believe that the #RevolutionNow will outlive all forces of repression, particularly the Buhari presidency."

"We call on the Coalition for Revolution (CORE) and other organizers to continue with mobilization. A failed government cannot use force to make the mass of people to accept its failure.March on! Mobilize on!!We will win!!!"

https://politicsnigeria.com/just-in-we-will-continue-with-revolutionnow-protest-despite-sowores-arrest-organizers/

You think your protest can remove Buhari? After you people collected money to dance owambe and voted for APC now you r getting the heat from herds men. Let me tell you, once you mobilize the north will mobilize too. While Lagos is boiling waiting for state of emergency, the North will be bursting with businesses etc. So think well

The only mistake Sowore made is naming it "Days of Rage"; seems from the name that he is calling for violence......

Rage means expression of anger. It does not need to be violent. Sowore is not a violent individual. Buhari played into his hands. Sowore know what he is doing. He knew he would be arrested. Remember how they intimidated TuFace. Now, he will get more popular.

He wasn't calling for violent revolution. It's an attempt to get the government more serious to address the numerous problems. See how innocent people are been killed over all and the culprits are not arrested because they are Buhari kinsmen.

What are the demands, only thing I saw that makes sense to me is " national assembly is not a place for sharing money" what else? Until they spell out what they are out to achieve it will easily be quashed down by the govt because the word revolution can also mean toppling a govt and if PDP and their apologists hijack it then its dead on arrival, their people are already making it look like its against buhari with their hate for him

As a non Nigerian, I wonder why is this sowore not so popular. With all the complaints I see on nairaland, I thought Nigerian youths will see this revolution protest as an ideal venue to be heard by the government.

All I see are but people Calling Sowore names, and telling how untrusted he should be. I fail to see any justification though.

Could someone explain to be the logic behind? Cc Plaetton ThothHermes Hopefullandlord onatisi

as a nigerian, we dont a revolution.

Don't mind these lazy human beings. I doubt they understand the meaning of revolution. Do they think revolution means coming out to protest in order to become popular ? They should read about Chinese, Russian and Cuban revolutions. People who cannot survive two hours of intense police crackdown are shouting revolution. They should read the works of Che Guevara, Lenin and Mao for an idea of what revolution means. Better still they should ask the Houthi rebels in Yemen what revolution means. Lazy people who should be on the farm working to provide food for their families are shouting revolution. If they know what revolutionaries went through in Russia, China, Cuba,Vietnam,North Korea and several other countries where revolution happened, they won't be shouting.
