You won't know the animosity this man (ELZARKARZY-a shiite muslim) feel for Buhari (A Sunni Muslim) until you study the reason for age long battle between this two brands of Islam.

Iran must have promised Elzazarky that by some intervention through war or whatever means he would lead Nigeria. If not, how do you explain elzarzaky's boys boldness to confront the Chief of army staff and blocked the road... they don't believe in any govt that is not a shiia govt.

Nigeria Muslims are predominantly Sunni and shiia are in the minority and their population isn't so significant to decide a major election. Any country where you find their shia and Sunni population coming close is always difficult if not impossible to govern because of leadership issue which stemmed from who should succeed Prophet Mohammed....in 632. Yemen and Syria are good case studies...

Christian Protestants and Catholics also differ in some ways... belief, doctrines etc... But they don't go to war especially in modern age... Muslim leaders who succeeded Prophet Mohammed were all slaughtered like rams by the opposing faction.
