Oga Messi has always played as a forward
Oga na lie.

What do you mean by forward? You mean centre forward?

The only time Messi was close to being a centre forward was as a false 9. And am sure you know what a false 9 is?

Meaning he was playing from the midfield and spending more time in the midfield.

After Xavi and Iniesta, Messi has spent an average of 60 minutes out of 90 minutes operating from midfield.

Ronaldo on the other hand has been a penalty box footballer since he joined Madrid, displacing poor Benzema as soon as the whistle goes.

That is 10 years playing as a forward, yet his goal stat is so inferior to Messi's.
Even at Man U he was a right sided forward.

Abeg leave matter, they are not mates!

How do you dominate a league with 2 league titles in 9 years(Playing in a Galactico team)? what then will you say of Aguero and other city stars?

He hasn't done anything to suggest he has dominated Serie A either, the trophies won last season we're trophies Juve has been winning for the preceeding 7years.

Cus that myopia wouldn't allow you to as well criticise the comments of the person I made this response to.

Whenever someone is quoting Ronaldo's achievements you smile in your living room and put your hand on your balls..

But when I quote Messi's achievements you come out protesting.

Ronaldo is more than Uefa get that into your skull. E doesn’t matter how many times you win a Uefa, even some great players won it once or twice, some average players won it more so it doesn’t matter. Ronaldo playing on the pitch is always thrilling. He’s respected & loved all over the world more than any other footballer.

Ronaldo has shot himself in a bid to surpass messi, he will never be a top goal scorer till he die and UCL trophy he won't win.

Serial a teams will do everything to frustrate him. If messi wins last season balloon d'or then he will be the only player to achieve that.

Neymar, suarerz and griezman in one team, messi will win his 7th golden boot this year

Messi chasing Ronaldo's La Liga hat-trick haul

Barcelona star Lionel Messi will be eager to overtake Cristiano Ronaldo's La Liga record for most hat-tricks this season. Ronaldo bagged 34 across his time with Real Madrid and Messi, currently on 33, has a strong chance of breaking that record over the next nine months with his last treble coming in March this year.

If it takes Messi two yrs to meet Ronaldo's hat trick record in laliga, that shows Ronaldo is better than Messi

that's what they said with msn ...duude Messi isn't human , he scores and assists when he wants . He's the f**king boss . He has played with great hungry players like eto , Suarez,Henry, ibra ,neymar and still outscored everyone in Europe . He's the f**king boss. wink

Imagine, and some dullards will say Messi is better... He joined la Liga 5 yrs after messis debut in la Liga... Set the record with highest hat trick ever and left la Liga to give Messi some record to try to break .... The only man in la Liga history to average a goal per game ... Real Madrid would hv been a shitty team if Ronaldo never joined... Ronaldos goals and assists made that team a fortress... He came to la Liga , set a hat trick record and left la Liga for Messi break that record... That's what a G.O.A.T does
Messi still has more goals than him from 2009-2018 , so I don't know what Ur on about . Who hatrick help when u de laliga pesn win 7 for your eye u only see two win with too much suffer , huuh? You should also know that Ronaldo is older than Messi and Messi B4 2008 was an injury prone player .

You must have been in a cave to not know that Messi has a free role, irrespective of the formation.

I won't lecture you in that, just watch Barca's matches, at least 50 of them this season.

Don't just be watching highlights and looking at formations and match stats.

It's just like saying that Man City has won more titles than Liverpool because they changed the name to English Premier league.

Ronaldo plays a free role as well. But the point is; he rarely leaves the 18 yard box area. Muah of his game he plays roaming around the box.

Messi plays a free role too; but he spends time playing real deep. Messi plays real real deep.

The world knows this.

Do you want us to dig out heat maps for both?
