1. Map making did not start from the blue. it started from map of smaller areas especially by pirates. no conventions-different people used different signs to denote different items. The knowledge grew over time. people began to combine maps of different places visited by other people. Though they were full of errors. over time, convention, mathematics and science came into cartography. one of those early scientific input is the use of Pythagoras theorem to calculate distance. they divide areas into triangular forms and did the calculation.

Bros na learning everybody dey for this world o. To answer your question though, I think understanding Concord will be a great place to start. Talking about Concord, I just discovered some errors in my post after you quoted me with it. Na English be my cheat for JAMB. I aimed to score highest in it since it carries the highest score. Hence, I read it from back to back. including lifting many words from dictionary (about 2,300 words) then. It turned out as planned. I had my highest score in English both for JAMB and post JAMB.


meanwhile, I didn't read anything related to English in school. so some pros will still see my tenses as wack.
