Buhari was NOT stone in Ogun State.

Any attempt to attack Buhari in any Foreign Country may be interpreted by many people (especially in the North) as an assassination attempt on the life of the President. If not handled well, mischief makers and tribal bigots will hijack it and it may leads to mass killings of Igbos in the North like the 1966 pogroms.

Please don't encourage such ill conceived and dangerous acts.

Nigieria has seen too much blood shed, let's avoid any thing that can avoidable violence.

u are right. I salute ur wisdom.

If you must know why happened, he became a hero being worshipped by his people nd also got a status erected in his honour after spending a short time in detention.
You people talk as if you alone has the monopoly of violence and buhari is untouchable, to get buhari is just simple thing and nothing will happen after that. Remember " buhari go home" at the front of Nigerian house in London? So, he is touchable.

not Monopoly on violence. how embarrassing do you think it will be for a host nation when a visiting president is attacked like ekweremadu. I believe those attackers of ekweremadu got away with it because he is not a DSP. if you agitate, agitate sensibly. don't be a scapegoat which greater interest will use as an object lesson or tool for negotiation

Of course I'm not supporting the attack on Sen Ike Ekweremmadu and I will not be a party to any violent revolution even though that seems to be only option left for the masses, I still think there's still some more peaceful way to revolt against the oppressors but thinking that if the people wants to attack buhari, it's not possible is totally unagreable even though the "host"natikn may feel embarrassed, it's achievable.

Saying something sensible to a tribalist is a total waste of time.

history is rife with the results of such action. it's usually terrible for the agitators and the country. Yes I agree that we need freedom in this country because right now we are all treated similar to a slave class in this nation. We have no rights only privileges, the common man has no access to the "leaders" in fact becoming a leader is well out of the reach of a common man. We need freedom but we need to think of a better way. Say after what you posited above happens, what's the way forward? history has proven to us that such a way will still perpetuate this same class in power if we do not have a set goal. Do we still retain the unitary system or we go for parliamentary. do we go the way of states or we go regional. how do we reeducate and inculcate our traditional moral values

Now, you're coming to agree with me that there are still some peaceful means to resolve our issues and a national conference/dialogue with a set target of returning to regionalism and independent federating units wil be not bad idea. I don't know the tribe you come from, but if I may go direct, the only people holding us back and giving hope to the northern cabals are the Yorubas. Sorry if that offends you but this the truth, because their selfish alliance with the north is what's civic the north edge over the rest of the country and when you look at it critically , you will find out that the north is powerless if they're to stand alone. I keep saying it, the attack on Sen Ike Ekweremmadu was a wrong target at the moment and the reactors and reactant should see it as why it is; people's frustration and anger and not personally to Ekweremmadu.

Ban Buhari from foreign trip?

Ban the president of a country whose passport you hold? Hmmm

Just like Nigeria based Americans threatening to attack trump if he visit Nigeria. How?

These mofos must be extremely high on cownu urine.

The day these miscreants try that shit on a seating president anywhere outside this country will actually mark the end of their madness.

I doubt these illiterates know the respect a sitting president commands anywhere in the world.

Well, I actually wish they carry out one-tenth of this threat.

Very obvious you've not left the shores of Africa, that's if you have ever travelled out of Nigeria.

The Indigenous People of Biafra, IPOB, has banned President Muhammadu Buhari from travelling outside the country, Igbere TV reports.

The group also placed a similar ban on Lt. Gen. Tukur Buratai, Nigeria’s Chief of Army staff, from any foreign trip.

Mazi Nnamdi Kanu, leader of the IPOB, announced the ban during a live broadcast on Radio Biafra monitored by Igbere TV, on Sunday.

He lampooned the two leaders for launching ‘Operation Python Dance’ against “armless” Biafran agitators in the South East, during which many IPOB members were reportedly killed.

“Any day you see Jubril aka Buhari or Buratai anywhere outside Nigeria, they will understand the meaning of anger”, Kanu stated.

The ‘Operation Python Dance’ was launched by the army in the South East in 2016 in the wake of protests by IPOB members who were demanding secession from Nigeria.

During the ‘Operation Python Dance’, the Nigerian army raided Umuahia, Abia State, the home town of the leader of the IPOB, Mazi Nnamdi Kanu, reports Igbere TV.

Meanwhile, Igbere TV had earlier reported that the IPOB has placed a N1 million bounty on four governors in the South East region.

The affected governors include Dave Umahi (Ebonyi), Ifeanyi Ugwuanyi (Enugu), Okezie Ikpeazu (Abia) and Willie Obiano (Anambra).

The announcement comes barely 24 hours after Senator Ike Ekweremadu, immediate past Deputy Senate President, was attacked by members of IPOB in Germany, on Saturday.

Kanu had earlier praised the act of his members, while sending a strong note of warning to the governors and Chief Nnia Nwodo, President-General of Ohanaeze Ndigbo.
