Earlier today, the Federal Bureau for Investigation (FBI) indicted 80 Nigerian fraudsters for charges bordering on financial crimes and theft.

Live-streaming the FBI's announcement on Twitter, ABC News; the news division of the American Broadcasting Company, ran a 30 minutes broadcast of the announcement on Twitter which saw over 80 Nigerians and US nationals charged with fraud.

Several Americans have reacted to the indictment, and the level of the wire fraud, with many referring to Obinwanne Okeke as 'the Nigerian Prince', a name which might have referred to the generic name scammers use in luring their unsuspecting victims by claiming to have an inheritance they would want to share with them.

A comment on the (ABC's twitter) thread reads: "They're FINALLY going after the Nigerian Princes that been bugging people for money othe last Billion years", whilst another user, Ruth Barbe commended the FBI tweeting "About time. Well done authorities concerned".

Many others are, however, sarcastic with their replies, asking if there would be no more Nigerian Princes.

This one is just the list of our yahoo boys. What about the list of our yahoo yahoo politicians. If America wants to fight corruption, they should not fight a selective corruption like buhari own. They should give us the list of our yahoo yahoo leaders too. Those boys are doing what they learn from their leaders. Only one yahoo politician is bigger than those 80 names combine.

The United States of America remains the easiest country to commit crime, most especially financial in the world. Take my statement wholly. It would surprise you that UAE is quite more difficult than you think.

You’re right! He doesn’t know what he’s saying. Usa has the highest rate of scam in the whole world. Lately I was told about one scam that’s happening in the USA. If you go to a gas station to buy gas then insert your card to pay, there’s this device that can read your credit card details, every details needed to steal funds from your account. The device has been coupled with the pump card reader. Lord knows how they doing that! Usa leads others follows..

You probably don't remember the gravity of adebowale committed.

Even the internet fraud you are busy yapping about is majorly Yoruba dominated.
EFCC and the FBI have arrested ten times more Yorubas over the years over Internet fraud, than any other group in Africa.

Even at hotel lobbies and clubs. Apart from that, the organizational level of the American society makes it easier to commit crime and stay anonymous. Forget the movies we watch, most of the successful criminals in the world cannot do without America.
