The cradle of knowledge
But where is that God's given privilege?
The world origin of civilisation
Now the world's capital of corruption
The only continent blessed with all the natural resources
Yet her citizens prefer foreign goods and services
From the desert of Morocco
To the tropical forest of Congo
We selfishly traded our own blood members
To the European slave traders
The African leaders would seek a spiritual solution on a technical problem
To the extent of flying out to Mecca or Jerusalem
Just to observe their weekly prayers
At the expense of labourers and workers
Stealing just to enrich the foreign nations
Leaving our economy in penury and deterioration..

Are we truly cursed ?
Noooo.. we only need to change our course
To set things right by ourselves
'cos Oyinbos only come here to fertilize themselves

AFRICA... Your citizens are black
But their brain is not dark
It takes collective efforts
To make Africa the land of comfort
