Also I want to know, would you be eligible to take another quick credit load if you liquidated the previous quick credit loan before the due date?

HOW TO QUALIFY FOR GTBank QUICK CREDIT LOAN AT FIRST TRY

GTBank quick credit is right for both salary earners and self-employed entrepreneurs – Yes, for real! I know that a lot of people find it difficult to believe this simple truth but you need not worry. I will break every piece of the puzzle here for you, and you will see how to qualify for GTB quick credit in minutes. So, grab a drink and let’s see what this quick loan in Nigeria holds.

What is GTBank Quick Credit?
The Quick Credit is a flexible loan service open to both salary earners and self-employed entrepreneurs who run an account with GTBank. It has been open since the third quarter of 2019. This loan service allows customers with a salary account to get up to N5 million credit. For those without a salary account, you can get up to N1 Million. This flexible loan service is accessible without any collateral and can be secured in minutes. Interestingly, you don’t have to go to the bank. In fact, no physical documentation is needed.

The Interest Rate Calculation for GTBank Quick Credit
If you qualify for this loan, it comes with an interest rate of 1.75% on a monthly basis. And the repayment is usually between 6 months and 12 months (1 Year). So, let’s do a bit of calculation here. If you choose to pay back in 6 months, you interest would be 1.75 X 6 = 10.5% interest. Which means, if you are given N1 million to pay back in 6 months, you will be required to pay a total of N105,000 as interest. In contrast, a 12 months repayment plan attracts 21% interest. But before you start to worry about the GTBank Quick Credit interest rate, it’s still 1.75% a month. So, if you get N1 million and are paying back in 6 months, its only N10,500 interest in a month.

I kept receiving pop-up messages from GTB on my mobile app stating that I was qualified to apply for loan but I kept ignoring them cus I knew that getting a loan is not as easy as that. I knew what I went through on few occasions when I had to take loans as small as 300k to sort out some immediate financial needs. It got to a point when I began to expect the bank to request the death certificate of my great grand father before they approve a loan amount that is not even up to my monthly earnings. The most embarrassing moment was when two close friends refused to sign guarantor forms because they claimed it was against their principle. I had to swallow my pride and go to a junior who eventually stood in as my guarantor at the end.

Out of curiousity, I clicked "accept'' just to see if it was real. Next message I got was that "your application has been accepted". To cut the long story short, I received an alert of about 1m.150k just few hours later and this sounded incredible. A scanned copy of the repayment plan was later emailed to me and when I did the calculation, I found out that the total percentage of interest is about 12% as against 22 - 26% which I was forced to cough out in previous loans I took from different banks in the past. This to me was a good deal even though I don't have a specific plan for it. Had to push it to my son's account while I wrap my head around what best to do with the money.

This instant loan and the attractive interest rate kept me wondering on the following:

1. Does it mean the banks now have so much money in their coffers to lend out to customers even without asking?
2. What is the reason for the low interest rate which to me is still far lower than what is obtainable?

I called my account officer to ascertain if I can invest it in FG bond but I wasn't impressed with the interest rate so I'm going to keep it in the bank pending on when I decide on what to do with it. Any good idea is however welcomed.

1.75% per month = 21% per Annum
Don't be deceived.
Its not 21%....its 1.75% on reducing balance so at the end of 12 months u pay about 12-13% interest

Loan apps in Nigeria have been playing a major role in our lives lately especially when you consider what the current economy looks like these days.

An average working-class person in the country today desires a loan to solve one problem or the other, at least, once in 6 months. This is why the lending business is going to keep booming for a very long time.

Most of these lenders do not care about you. In fact, they hide a lot of things from you from the onset. All they want to do is to capture you in that desperate situation and take advantage of you.

By the time you're supposed to repay the loan you start getting deductions you never bargained for.

But did you know that there's a website where you can see EVERY LEGIT LOAN COMPANY. What this website does is that it will help you compare all the loan companies in Nigeria using the requirements you provide. And within 2 seconds, you'll see a list of companies that match exactly what you want.

Let's say, for instance, you earn 50k monthly. You know that it'll be difficult to find a legit company that'll be willing to grant you a loan without wrecking you with interest rates. But once you visit LoanSpot Africa, you can conveniently choose who you want to get a loan from.

YOU CAN VISIT THE WEBSITE HERE TO COMPARE LOAN INTEREST RATES FROM OVER 100 DIFFERENT LOAN COMPANIES IN NIGERIA

Taking a Loan in Nigeria and Africa can be a stressful process. Loan seekers are desperate people and they don’t care how and where they get the loan. What they do is try every possible means to get the desired loan amount they want.

Many at times, many loan seekers don’t pay attention or care about what the lender’s or loan company’s interest looks like, they just want a loan. We can see examples of how loan firms disgrace people or harass the contacts on your phones just because you couldn’t pay up or the interest rate is too much for you.

I implore everyone seeking to get a loan to compare and see the different platforms that are willing to give you the desired loan amount before downloading the app on your phone. Imagine downloading a loan app on your phone and they have gotten access to all your contacts, locations and every important detail yet they are not willing to give you your desired loan.

Loan companies in Africa don’t really care about the lenders, they want to exploit people, hence, you must compare and take the best loan which you feel is safe for you.

You can use Loanspot Africa to compare loan options in Africa and see which is best and suitable for you if you want a loan

Yes. I only paid an interest of 1.75% on the loan.

How where you able to offset it. I mean when you had the total capital and interest how did you just leave it in your balance for them to take or you went to the bank physically to pay off the debt.

One of the many reasons i love gtb. Only death can separate us.. And should i meet the usage of banks in heaven or wherever i meet myself afterlife, you know the rest except gtb is not registered there sha.

Banks that won't give business people loan.

They use business people funds to give loans to only Salary earners.

Business owners need to move their GTB funds to other banks that will loan them and leave GTB to cater to only Salary earners and let's see how that plays out for them.

You just rushed and posted your phone number here without even properly quoting the person who opened the thread and whom you actually intended to get across to.

Another person will contact and scam you if you're not careful!

Just so you know the amount of loan offer you will get is dependent on your average monthly account turnover.

No bank will give you an uncollateralised loan of 1 million if your average monthly turnover is 100K!

GT Bank is so known for the quick salary earners loan as someone said here. But they have non-salaried ones too that you can access with their app or their quick GT loan USSD *737*51*51# (both salary and non salary earners. But for salary earners only, it is *737*8*2#.
