Why do most Ijaws have this notion and keep saying that Bayelsa is a homogenous Ijaw state.They should know that there are Urhobos and Isokos in that state.Ofoni town is a pure Urhobo community in Bayelsa State.
It is just like saying that Edo state is a homogenous Edo-speaking state.When we know fully well that we have Ijaw communities there.
So why the subtle domination of Urhobo identity in Bayelsa State?
It is high time that news broadcast in Urhobo language should be broadcasted in Radio Bayelsa.
This ploy has made some of the present-age Ofoni youths to see themselves as Ijaws.
