This month Google has updated several apps - some are Blogger Mobile version, Dark mode feature on Google play and now Google photos.

Google Photos is a photo-sharing and storage service developed by Google. It was announced on May 2015 and separated from Google+, the company's social network. Google Photos gives users free, unlimited storage for photos up to 16 megapixels and videos up to 1080p resolution.

"We are using Machine Learning to curate what appears in Memories, so you don't have to parse through many duplicate shots, and you can instead reflect on the best ones, where the photos have good quality and all the kids are smiling," said Shimrit Ben-Yair, Google Photos, lead on Thursday.

Google Photos Memories is a nice way in getting to see your best photos for over a year or two which you might have forgotten. Remember you can always backup photos for Free there too.
