I'm actually really curious what you guys have to say about why the title is the norm globally. It's almost written in most women's DNA, lol, and I am not saying there's anything wrong with that, but why has it become a norm? You'd thin that in developed societies, those gender norms are broken, but it's still there. Seems society contributes to it, idk, but this seems to be deeper than that. It's not just peculiar to Sudanese or Chinese or Filipino or Dutch women. I mean, it's almost universe, from time immemorial. Idk, but honestly, what do you think are the reasons females have to wait for guys to approach them first. Or rightly believe they should wait. |

Majority of women don't ask guys out because they are afraid of the outcome Afraid to be rejected or accepted What if he says no, will I be the girl that got rejected by a guy? What if he says yes and we later have issues Then he'll be like "after all you asked me out" It's better to think you'll get rejected than to actually try and erase all doubt |

cooooooks: Asking a guy out can be done in many ways and I don't mean what you are thinking. One of the ways to ask a guy out is the eyes - the silent tongue of love. People can be horribly  fixated on you that you'd feel guilty if you don't ask them out. Actually they asked you out, it's just that they are allowing you to take charge.Also, people may also say "care to come to my home for a movie/drink during the weekend or whatever." They asked you out too but it's still quite obfuscating and many other ways I wouldn't bore you with. In the end, they still want you to say it!!! I mean this: Hey, I really like and admire you and I don't know if you feel the same about me. I would love to spend my life with you in happy union but I don't know if you're interested in me or feel the same attraction I have towards you. That is what I am talking about. If you say girls are asking guys out, we have to back up a little and ask where. In the Americas, Europe and other industrialized nation? Probably 2, 1 (or none) out of every 10 relationships. In traditional societies? LMAO!!! They would rather die than open up even when they are quite sure that the guy has good attributes they want in a future spouse. |
