We all differ you know.
Not everyone is cut out for business.
Some people have gotten their fingers burnt by investing in someone else's business.

Why not allow professionals handle your funds for you in a way that gives you rest of mind.
You can even invest and manage your funds yourself in some cases

The interest rates you'll be getting would definitely be better than leaving your funds in a savings account.

I disagree with ur last paragraph, because as far as Nigeria is concern, putting ur investment in one basket is the riskiest of all risks. Inflation is waiting to devour it. That is why people are advised to diversity smartly.

Diversification is an excuse for being ignorant of a scertin investment vehicle.... And like all vehicles(investment securities) u may need to use multiple vehicles to get to ur destination (vehicles)....
That doesn't mean you are diversifying it may look like that.... You just know when to change at the right moment

U can also get ur hands burnt by account managers....... Financial literacy should be learnt... But that doesn't mean account managers are useless... I use account managers to give me updates on the new types of investment vehicles to be exploited, my portfolio performance and other suggestions... But the choice of investment is always mine.... Even if it means researching all night
