Today I would be discussing about information marketing and how you can make the best out of it. Maybe you are in search of a career path, you need residual income, a side hustle or something. Information marketing might just be what you need. Please read on .
You might have heard about information marketing one way or the other and you are not convinced you really understand what it is or what its all about. In simplicity, Information marketing is just as easy to understand as the name is. Information marketing in my own words is simply the monetization of information or information selling.
In the world today, information is the fastest selling product out there in the market. With the advent of the internet, information has become a gold mine for authors or publishers. You might begin to wonder why when you mention some of the worlds richest people you find names like Jeff Bezoz of Amazon, Mark Zuckerberg of Facebook, Larry Page founder of Google among many others. The unique thing about these men are that they are in the real sense information marketers.
In order not to bore you with stories you already know, I would like to dive into the business of today, which is, How To Make Money With Information Marketing.
I would be talking from my personal experiences, and what I do to rake in lots of cash from information marketing. I usually make an average of 500k every month doing information marketing. Note, this is not some get rich quick scheme, you need to put in some effort to make this work for you. With that said, lets go straight to the strategy I use in Information Marketing.
Now if you want to be an information marketer, first of all you need to choose a niche you would like to market your information to. Incase you don't know what a niche is;
A niche is a specialized segment of the market for a particular kind of product or service.
Example of a niche:
Female fashion accessories, Health sector, make money online niche, loose weight groups, spirituality, religion, these are just a tip of the ice berg relating to examples of niches.
There is this saying, if you want to be wealthy, you need to solve a problem.
Information marketing is all about solving problems, that's why I love to call it the online oil well, here you can reach a wider audience of people that need a solution to their problems and you have the solution. You can have the solution in form of an eBook that you have written, an audio, video, or you have a physical product that solves the problem.
Now you would need a platform to market your information or product, this is one of the major secrets to successful information marketing. If you understand this concept, you are up for success. This secret lies in something a whole lot of you know but ignore, Blogging.

What Is Blogging?
First you need to know what a blog is; a web log, usually shortened as "blog," is a web page that contains dated posts, by one or multiple users, often relating to a particular topic or niche. "Blogging" is the act of writing in a blog.
Originally, blogs could only be created by someone who already knew how to build a website. In recent years, however, many build-your-own-blog tools have come on to the market, some of them free, and now, anyone with Internet access can create their own blog. My favorite platform for this is blogger. Why I love blogger soo much is that, it is a google product and google owns the most used search engine online, this means your contents can automatically rank well on the search pages of google if you do your writing well. Another advantage of using blogger is that you can easily get google adsense, another google product that helps you monetize your site by placing google adverts and getting paid for each clicks you get or impressions. You could earn a hundred dollars ($100) daily with a traffic of 2,000 - 3,000 daily visitors on your site or blog that has Adsense.
On blogger, you can customize the site to look professional and I mean by removing all advertising by blogger and getting a customized domain name to work with it. This would cost you only 1,100 NGR to register a .com .ng domain name that would work with your blog.

So now you may be asking how do I start making money with this.
If you have carefully chosen the niche you would like to serve, and you have built your blog Site, the rest is now as simple as ABC.
You need to define what you want to achieve, do you want to sell your ebook, video or physical product or you want to just build your authority in that niche. Whatever it is you want to achieve, you need to start posting articles to your blog relating to the information or products you are marketing. If you need ideas of what to post you can always visit article enzine. Here various authors write articles relating to different niches that tends to address or solve a problem in that niche. When you visit their site, you can browse the category that is common to your niche and get tons of articles from different authors. Now you can get articles here and when you post, give credit to the author on your blog. Always make sure in every post you find a way to include a link to the product or information you are trying to sell.
