We have provided our own water,
Bought our own generator
Paid for our vigilante
We pay taxes, we endure the bad roads
We are plagued with insecurity
These days citizens are fighting alongside the army

Abo-ki spotted! All this gragra patriotism simply because they know what's waiting for them when eventually this shithole country disintegrates and everyone goes his own way.
Let us see how they'll sustain Arewa Republic on begging Almajiri-ism.

Nigeria is Nigeria.

If the north is bad, Nigeria is bad!

If a foreigner ask you where you are from, what would be your reply?

Nigeria!

Nigeria is not getting any better with the current system, most youths are filled with hate for the other ethnics, these same youth would grow up to be leaders and the hate continues.

Its time to keep tribal sentiments aside and face the reality.

Peace!

You missed the point!

Can the branch stand when the tunk has fallen?

All I see are hard working Nigerians, great potentials with little or no opportunities.

The system too is not helping out.

How would you feel as a teacher deployed to teach in one of the schools above?

Won't your passion wane?

Remember you will still be owed salary too!

No one is painting Nigeria black, just the true pictures!

To solve Nigeria's problem, we need to go back to where it all started. What year did Nigeria begin to experience changes? who was the president then? who were the ministers then? who were the chief of armed staff then? the CJN the Tribunal or the Chief Justice of Nigeria?

We start from there, then we can get to the root to all Nigeria's problem.

I see. So pictures of handful of corrupt politicians and a handful of superwealthy who made their wealth dubiously as they sip champagne and cruise in their luxurious private jets is the real picture of Nigeria;

While 99% of Nigerians live in poverty do not represent the real picture of Nigeria?

The bottom line is not whether there are slums in not wether there are slums in America. The bottom line is what percentage of Americans live in extreme poverty and what percentage of Nigerians do? I think everyone knows the answer is that question.

sreamsense:
Op, if you want to weep for Nigeria or yourself @59, you can keep weeping. It is your choice, others will have their own reasons also to celebrate! Among all the beautiful and positive pictures and events in Nigeria, these are the only ones you could find. The pictures do not reflect real Nigeria, there is no country of the world that do not have slum areas, poor people or problem they are facing internally. Even though we are not there yet as a nation, there are still rooms for improvement from government and all of us. Instead of carrying camera hunting for terrible events to snap, do little help practically to help people around you to get better lifes. No government can do it all. Trump many of us see as semi-god is facing his own with America, gun shooting and killing has increased in his first tenure despite tagging it as land of opportunity. We are the cause of our problems most times, when government provide chairs, some bad people and staffs will go and steal them and later blame government. All of us should play our parts so we can have better Nigeria. Parents should give birth to children they have financial resources and moral capability to cater for, they shouldn't give birth recklessly and expect God to take care of them on their behalves. Our leaders should play their parts well by governing right, entertainers should be good role models and they should stop modelling bad youths into our societies. Government workers should desist from eye-service, they should work with fear of God. Doctors and lecturers should stop selling little equipment and drugs government provided to laboratories and hospitals. Jobless individual should be more hardworking and get lawfull plan B to get little income without engaging in stealing, kidnapping and other attrocity. Poverty is never an excuse to engage in crime, we have poor people who do not engage in stealing while we have rich people with billions in their accounts who are still stealing and claiming other people's properties. Government should discharge his own duties and govern with constitution and fear of God. We will get there!

It is well...may God Himself show us mercy. It is so sad to see the huge distance between the rich and the poor. Even sadder is the percentage of poverty in the north...home to Dangote, Indimi, Abacha and many past presidents. It is really well.

Maybe if the citizens aren't gullible enough to be misled, they'll find animals in the bush to cast votes for them.

this is painful sha...
And some people are trying to give an evicted housemate millions of naira because she was evicted while there are people if given that money in this Nigeria, Dangote will know someone is giving him a run for his money.
