When I was young my elder brothers used to tell me a story about one bizarre match that was between Nigeria and India.I was made2realise that there was an agreement between both countries that if Nigeria could score a goal that Nigeria has automatically won the match.
They told me that many weird things happened during the match such as the ball turning to lion,tiger,snake,stone,etc.When the score was 100-0 in favour of India,Samuel Okwaraji wanted to play a shot, the ball turned into a stone but he went on playing it and the ball scored but Okwaraji eventually died,

It is always told to prove the heroic and passion of old Nigerian footballer,well i think it doesn't happen, lol,how  d fable circulate only God knows,
I was also told that Thunder Balogun used shot to kill a goal keeper wìth his left føot,
The story goes, One of the best goal keeper at that time heard about the heroic display of Thunder balogun and he went to him telling him that he(balogun)cannot score a single penalty out of 3 with him on the goal post.Balogun laughed saying that it is impossible,the goal keeper then told him that they should bet with all their belongings(including their wives)and balogun accepted the offer.On the fixed day 4d penalty, many people from Nigeria(including the wife of balogun)and d people of the country of the goalkeeper met at d stadium then the penalty session began.Thunder balogun was a right footer.
The first penalty was played with the right leg but the keeper saved it,d same with second penalty, Lest I 4get,when balogun was young he used to play fball with anything he saw,one day he was using orange to play football but d orange accidentally hit an old woman but he begged d woman&took proper care of d woman and d woman was pleased with his action.That made the womam to give him a ring to put on his left foot that whenever he need to score at all cost,he should use his left foot,
Back to the penalty session,when balogun wanted to play d last penalty kick his wife(knowing that she would be enslaved had he lose the last penalty)shouted, Thunder Balogun!!Balogun!! Balogun!! Try your left!!
On hearing this Thunder balogun used his left foot to play a supershot but the shot went straight to the keeper and pass through the belle of the gk and d ball scored but the keeper died immediately,

yup heard both stories from my elder brother. he used to tell me when I was younger although the balogun story's a bit different.
The gatekeeper was his twin brother and it was a final match with him taking the last penalty so he had to score but killed his brother in the process.

It was fun when one was younger but now to think about such things is even ridiculous. The stories just can't be facts
