This terminal jetty doesn't look safe. There are ways going about this. Why can't you get ISO certification on your jetty and you don't need to keep ranting on media.

Buhari and his cabinet are failures but the Jetty is a total mess

I am sure u can read
The agreement states the NPA is responsible for the maintenance of the facility
Why will BUA go about looking for ISO certification

I wonder why it's quite hard to sue state agencies in this zoo. This is a breach of contract and agreement. BUA can sue NPA for breach of contractual agreement and also illegal shutdown of property. They can even sue for contempt since NPA is disregarding the law and stating that they're bigger than the constitution. Ranting on social media won't help. Publishing rounds of papers won't help too. Las las, they're free to hire an independent body to review the safety of their infrastructures. But my opinion stands, sue these people for breach of contract and agreements made in trust.

lol. They have started. I have always been an advocate of common sense. This event reinforces an argument I have always made, even on the pages of newspaper, that at such level in business there is nothing like ethnic victimization. GTB vs Innoson had no ethnic undertone, it was purely business disgreement like this one. I will not relent in driving home that point with any relevant event that reinforces it.

I read your comment on Facebook on this issue.

When you wanna talk next time, be bold enough to mention the name of the people.

Instead of attending to issue on ground, which is a clear attack from someone like Dangote, a move that characterize his brand of entrepreneurship... A man who can't fair healthily under intense competition, which will also cause unemployment, you choose to try play ethnic politics again.

Doesn't this confirm what was said about Ibeto?
Since Ibeto is out of the way, BUA now his target.

I am not quarreling with you. I just had to point out that your POV on this thread is entirely irrelevant and unrelated.

It is best suited for when what you opined resurface.

Deal with the issue on ground and call it what it is. Those are people's jobs on the line because of the decommissioning, fathers, mothers, brothers and sisters who are breadwinners of their family will be affected.

School fees will not be paid, house rent will not be paid food will vanish from tables..

Why hasn't Dangote's cement been shut down for all the killings by his trucks?

I will begin to take most of you learned Nigerians serious when you start applying conscientious commentaries in your discourse. Until then, have a nice day.

I have a longstanding personal resolve to fight the tendency of Nigerians to introduce tribal slants to business disagreements between people of different tribes. The news advances the arguments I have always made. I have the right to use it.

You are not the one to tell me the angle to choose to comment in a piece of news.

I do have right to tell you certainly so because of the tendency of your post to derail and degenerate the thread into a tribal war, which would have defeated the main purpose of the thread or news.

Just as you have same right to call me out if you so wish wherein I am going astray.

You pulled the first trigger, even though you had all reasons not to, considering your pedigree on here over the years.

And before you accuse me of hating on you.. It is far from it. I generally often called out the first instigators of tribal attacks on thread cos I detest it, either by Igbos or non igbos.

Your of track opinion reeks of deep seated ignorance and animosity.Ofcourse you have a right to your opinion but common sense dictates when your opinion is needed especially when it is distasteful and was made in bad faith.

I don't see the big deal about what Jarus said. It boils down to the tribal smallheadedness that is rife here on NL where almost everything is narrowed down to tribal sentiments and conspiracy theories.

Consider the recent border closure. Some elements here were already stating that if PMB does not also shut down the Northern borders, he is being unfair. Where is Niger republic in the first place? On the Atlantic?

What if it was only Benin Republic that was guilty of aiding smuggling, there would be no need to shut Northern borders if they weren't bordering the country. But some will still shout unfair.

There was an incident that happened somewhere in the North recently. Because attention was given to it, some elements adjudged that it was only because it was the presidents state Katsina that it was given priority. This was just petty.

Free Jarus. Are you guilty of such narrow thinking? If you are, then you have no right to judge Jarus. Both of you are the same sides of the coin from your own perspective to me.

Now, I'm I a supporter of PMB? How would you answer?

Many would have felt Dangote was allowed to victimise Ibeto because Ibeto was Igbo which wasn't the reason why. Now, with his behind the scenes attack on BUA, it is obvious it is has no ethnic twist. Strictly business, in a land with weak institutions and endemic corruption.

Thank you for your comment.I do not have issue with Jarus.I only have issues with those who make the kind of his comment especially when it is unnecessary. He could as well have made a blanket statement without pointing at any ethnic group but his comment was so glaringly pointing to my people. If any other person makes such, I probably would have ignored it but when a person a lot of young ones here look up to at least on this forum, then that person should be cautioned and that is exactly what I did.I have been long on this forum to know how the tribal slurs here can make you change your personality but maturity and decorum should always be your watchwords. He ended up committing the same crime he accuses others of.

Well, Igbos have had their survival threatened so much that things are not threat are perceived as such...

Dangote is not fit to be called an entrepreneur if he can't compete favourably.

What happens when he dies?, instead of focusing on building a system that will sustain his business and fortify it, he chose to witch-hunt perceived enemies.

This one sounds like a 16yo..... Really? This too is some sort of ethnic victimization by some people who think they re more "northerner " than others. Those who believe they own this country and can do whatever they want. You should be outrage as a person rather than spin ethnic bashing into this.

I think you misinterpreted him (Jarus). In my opinion, he was trying to warn against alluding most anti-free trade machinations/moves as ethnic. rather, to see some of such for what they are, pure profitism
